71 GTX/ Mopar Muscle
I see Dave beat me to post here on the Mopar Muscle feature. I saw the pics and thought to myself I think I saw that car somewhere. The second look through I remembered it from your unveiling here. As far as your car is concerned, don't be in a hurry. Finish rubbing it out and waxing it. Steam clean...

Hard starting ?
Got my car last Dec 03. Sat a long time before I got it, but fired up well enough after electric pump ran a little. Battery would go dead but checked out ok and charged up. I figure I have a short somewhere but have not found it yet. I have a disconnect switch on the batery so it will not drain when...

Welcome
I haven't tried to post a picture so I can't help you. Love 440+6 cars. Mine is a base car with a built 383 but have fun with it all the time. Now my brother has a 70 440+6 RR so sometimes he lets me drive it! Maybe I could arrange an engine swap? LOL Good taste runs in our family. Hope to see pics ...

BlueBird sighted
I had the good fortune to see Project Blue Bird at Dave's home last night. Truely impressive and it's still only a rolling shell! I am sure it will knock your socks off when it's finished. Kudo's to Dave on this effort. He is a wealth of knowledge I hope to know 1/4 of what Dave knows about these ca...

Front Tires
Fronts are 235/70x15 on same wheels. Keeps the rolling diameter the same. Almost went with this on all 4 but the 60's in back give this style car nicer lines. I have air shocks in back (they came on the car) for just a little lift but not needed for the tires to fit. Just a little nose down attitude...

Rear Tire size OK
I have 275/60 x15 on Mirada wheels that are 4.5in backspaced and 8in Wide, they fit very well. I have at least an inch to clear the rear spings and more to the inner edge of the wheel well lip.

"Dash Caps"
I've seen some on racks at the Nats and they looked pretty good on the stand. I think I saw one or two in cars but the owners where not around for a close inspection. They did look like a cap not a real dash pad but for my money they looked a whole lot better than a rug cover or my crappy dash pad. ...
