Whats the difference between the 70-72 calipers and the diplomat calipers? I have the dip spindle and braces. But I have a new set of 70-72 calipers and can't take them back.

Need to know, if the 70 thru 72 B Body disk brake spindles were different from the newer cars. I have Diplomat spindles and 71 rotors and seems like the grease seals are different.

Re: Solenoid or ballast resistor?
Do you mean solenoid or relay? The solenoid is on the starter, the relay is on the inner fender. If you relay is nice looking you can get any after market one and put you cover on it. The covers are date coded. Also the parts store ones don't have that little vent filter like the factory ones. Rick E...

It is saveable and it's in a junk yard.I don't have a dog in the race, just thought it should be saved. It's a SSP 318, not bright yellow, but yellow, fender mounted turn signals. A/C, rally dash...

That type of scoop is from the 70s,was used on pro stockers and any other race car. Its just fiberglass, you can still find them, but its ugly on that car.

Re: Help me ID this dash wiring
Do you have standard or rallye dash? Anyway,my 72 book shows it for the seat belt relay. But it shows a blue wire not a blue with a white tracer. Shows it for satellite and baracuda. The big blue ring wire may be a 12 volt feed to the voltage limenter. You might have a standard cluster out of a 72

Did they cut slots in the console or drill holes ? I'm putting the pioneer KP 500 supertuner that i had in this car in the 70s back in it, and...
