If I remember correctly, a mid sixties C body, is the same width as E body, or a little narrower than 71-4 B body. This would give you a little more room for aftermarket wheels. The early 70's C body is WIDER, maybe 1-2 inches than your stock axle. Supposed to be the same width as 71-4 B body wagon....

This chart is accurate, as far as it goes, but this flange to flange number is for the housing, not the width including axles, and brake drums. Hi, I waited in case anyone else chimed in. I believe the OEM bars were only available in 4 sizes, .92,.94,.96,.98. Yours are probably the .94s if original. Now I would guess that a Road Runner equipped with 318 would have the .96 bars, as would a Satellite equipped with HD suspension, or 400 4v. Or...
