The fuel tank. There's a vapor line that runs from the fuel tank to one of these nipples.

Shifter is bolted to the transmission which in turn is bolted to the frame. You'd need to lengthen the shifter itself.

Under the dash along either side of the column are 4 bolts holding it in place. There are also 4 bolts holding the column to the firewall. Remove all those bolts and the column should pretty well lay on the seat.

The wheel doesn't HAVE to come off, but dropping the steering column helps.

Yep. Especially if the Sheet doesn't list anything for the mirrors. I think with nothing listed that would default you to the standard little chrome mirror on a stick...
