Re: FUll vinyl top on a 71 RR how rare is this?

Cool Chart! I forgot that this was posted a while back. Check out how many RR's and GTX's came with rear shoulder belts (C14). Owning one of those would be fun!

Re: vinyl roof ,

Welcome to the nest! Sounds like a very cool car. Two points on putting the vinyl back on. If you plan on enjoying the car for many years and don't care about resale, then make it like you want it. On the other hand, since you have a numbers matching car, putting it back to original will likely maxi...

Re: 1972 satellite sebring plus

Cool! Another GY8 Sebring Plus! I wish mine would have come with the big block. I would have gone straight back to original. If yours is a numbers matching car - definitely go back to original. The 400/4spd has got to be fairly rare - maybe right up there with the 440RR/GTX. Mine came with non match...

Re: Chrysler Classic Racing for Wii and DS

I have this game too for Wii. I can't seem to get past the challenge round where you race through the urban storm drain course. I may have to check online for some cheats!

Interesting paint scheme - should look good when you get all the goodies back on the car! Scott.

Re: your restoration opinion

Hey Kenny, Great dilemma you have there. If I had the same situation, this is how I would tackle the resto. Since it is a numbers matching car, I would have a hard time modifying the car too much. I would put it back to mostly original, proper paint scheme, interior color, etc. But you want to drive...

Re: gas tank strap, pad insulation

Just took a look at yearone.com and they have the reproduction pads. They have a note that says the reproduction pads are foam, where the originals are tar. So the felt paper idea by gcoupe72 looks to be right on track. When I look again at my pad, it does have a thick felt/tar paper consistency. Ho...

Yep, 99.9% sure that is a custom job. Looks like some race car graphics to me. Looks like a good, challenging project car! Good Luck! Scott.

Re: gas tank strap, pad insulation

Here is the pic of the gas tank pad. It measures 22.5 x 25.5 x 3/16 and is made of a cardboard/felt type material. Not quite sure what its real name is. Scott.

Sad that we could not save old yeller  , but happy that someone is getting good parts off of it to get other b-bodies back on the road. :D Good job so far Ben. I too am on a tight budget, doing what I can when I can. Scott.

Re: 1972 yellow Road Runner headed for the crusher

Sadly, I think I am going to have to pass on this one. The logistics of getting it to where I need it would be just too much. If it still had its numbers matching drivetrain, I would be pressing hard to save it. I just dont think that Jim will let the whole car go though - for cheap anyway. Thanks B...

Re: 1972 yellow Road Runner headed for the crusher

I called Barry's U Pull It, and talked to Jim. He has set the car aside for another week because someone might be interested in the roof. He was sticking to the policy of not selling the whole car. I didn't want to waste his time, so I just requested that he consider ebay or craigslist as an alterna...
