electronic flasher...noted. I've never heard of a standard flasher not working, only thinking that bulbs were burned out.
i'll definitely check the grounds.
I have no idea if anything worked before, because the car was in pieces when i got it.

Everything is LED bulbs except the main headlights. 1. car off, key out - taillights on, press brake, brakelights work like normal 2. lights on - brake lights come on, pressing brake doesn't change brightne...

Re: '71 Rear Bumper, Steering Column, and Windshield Removal
Welcome!! The first rule of restoration: DON'T GET DISCOURAGED. Rely on the forums if you can't figure something out, or something goes wrong. Your steering column should disconnect from 3 places. 1. at the steering box. there's a spring pin that needs to be hammered out. 2. at the firewall (3 bolts...

Re: New guy from California
Neat car! on the drivers side fender there should be a plate (the fender tag)...just a little bigger than a business card. it'll have numbers and letter and the VIN. that's the easiest way to decode what you have. take a picture of it and post it! We should talk. i've got a nice '71 passenger fender...

Re: Aluminum Radiators
I got mine from these guys.
http://www.speedcooling.com/
it took a little grinding on a couple of the holes to get it to fit exactly right, and a bit of clearance on the front frame rail. but it's well made, and seems to do the job.

'72 SSP value range.
So I bought some fenders...it'll be another topic...
Dude is also selling a '72 ssp. Petty blue, a/c car. 318. Some dents. Runs and drives. White top. Sap badges intact. Set of rechromed bumpers with it. I'll post a fender tag pic later.
Anyone want to give me a range of values?
