I didn't have a problem quite like this, but I second-vote it's the dimmer switch. I had missing dash lights, and once it was contact-cleaned and played with, it worked!
Good luck!

Re: rare hood
Yeah, even though it's coming from South Carolina, it does look pretty solid for seeing better days. Surface rust, but yet an old Mopar without a rust problem is rare and usually magic.

Re: So what is your opinion on these ?
The E-bay seller acts like he is having them manufacturered, but I'm not sure if I buy it. Yeah, I'm not too sure about that either...But here's my eyebrow-raising question. Mr. Ebay says: (Direct Quote) "...PLYMOUTH ROADRUNNER REAR WINDOW LOUVERS WITH STAINLESS HINGES AND MOUNTING HARDWARE..." Whi...

Re: Got my 71 RR home today
That's cool! I don't have a/c or p/s either. Which I certainly don't mind. Only thing with mine is...I do have power brakes...Which I can't really take advantage of them with the cam I have. Even with a vacuum reserve tank, I best have to put it in neutral and rev it up to stop, or it's both feet on...

Ooh, pretty! Does it have drums or discs in the front?
Regardless, it's awesome either way...Nice!
[Gasp], and do I spy a vinyl top? Wooowee!

Re: So what is your opinion on these ?
I think they're nifty, but I have never seen them on a B-Body. My dad has a set of super-expensive ones for his Challenger, I know he paid a fortune for them. Except I believe the Challenger/Barracuda ones were aluminum. As for the cost of these reproduction ones, it seems like a good deal. As for q...

Re: Super Stock Springs
Thanks for the welcome and the info, guys! I Google'd how much it weighed yesterday and couldn't find anything. It was originally a 400 car (not sure if that has anything to do with anything). I just needed a guesstimate as to what it weighed. The engine's been reworked, still cast iron block and he...

Re: Holy crap... can you say, "Re-body"?
Yeah, I saw that not too long ago when my dad was E-Bay cruising. That car definitely can't be saved...I'm sorry.
I love Mopars to death, but that one is definitely a goner. That makes me angry that people do this and try to sell them off as "big money fixer-uppers".

Super Stock Springs
Not sure if I'm posting this thread in the right place, but here it goes. I have a decently built '72 Roadrunner, and am looking to put some Mopar Super Stock springs in the back. I have three choices though. 3,400 lb., 3,600 lb., and 3,800 lb. Does anyone have a guess on what the factory curb weigh...

Re: request for participation
Yeah, I'm no genius on these things. Actually to be honest, I'm horrible when it comes to exact factory specs. I know what they came with, and what you can turn 'em in to. But hey, you'll never worry about me asking restoration questions and bailing, because I'm keeping my car forever! I grew up wit...
