Of course there are more plans :D Exterior: paint the grille black, engine call outs, pinstripes in the hood recesses Undercarriage: put on the factory front sway bar (from a '72 Charger Rallye), replace the springs with factory HD units, eventually put the 0.96" torsion bars on after the... Okay, I found what i want, just not who I want to buy it from.

Who does he buy them from?

Pics of 22" rads in your cars

I'm collecting parts for when the BB/RB finds its way into my engine bay. The 318 has a 19" flat top radiator. The radiator brace opening is 22". I'm thinking a 22" original 2 row with shroud or a 3 row aftermarket. Anybody have pics of a flat top radiator with shroud in their car? Supplier recommen...

Thanks, Eric.

That would imply that I should strip the silver paint off my '72 grille. :P
But I'll probably just have it shot flat black.

Correct Paint Color for '71 grill?e

I'm getting ready to ask a buddy with a paint sprayer to paint the grille on my '72 Sat the same black as a '71 RR/GTX grille. Does anyone have the '71 body manual or know the paint mix for that particular Black? Looks to be something between flat and gloss. Also. any pics from the shop manual on ho...

Right there with you, GTS.

I bid on a used set on eBay this weekend. Allegedly pulled years ago from a '71 GTX. I went up to $350; they sold for $360.

Virginia, this Yankee doesn't need it, and nobody has asked for it. You want it, it's yours. PM me.

Of course, it might take 18 months before it comes off, as I now gotta turn the money tree to the drivetrain. :haha:

I'm very interested in this topic as I'm converting my '72 SS to an unbadged RR clone - BB with HD suspension components. I already secured the front swaybar, and am getting ready to score the bigger diameter torsion bars (0.96") from MP. What I don't know is if I need a rear swaybar. I'd go afterma...

I must have confused everybody. - I have a RR bulge hood, NOT an AG hood. - The turn signals are now relocated to the hood. - i pulled the turn signal wires from the fenders - It looks like they are too short, by about 8-12", to make the hood with some slack. I guess I'll splice in some wire for the...

Rear-end widths: '71-72 versus '73-74

Technical Q: is there a drum-to-drum width difference between an 8 3/4 rear in a '71-72 B-body versus a '73-74? I have a '73 8 3/4 rear end that I was going to put into my '72 Satellite. If it won't fit, someone on Moparts is looking for one for a '73-74 so Imight as well let it go if it won't do me...
