8 3/4 or Dana 60?
I currently have a 8 1/4 rear end in my car, but I want to upgrade. My father-in-law has both a Dana 60 (with sway bar) and an 8 3/4 rear that he said will fit in my car (I know for sure the 8 3/4 will. it's out of a 74 RR, but I can't remember what car he said the Dana was out of). I'm leaning towa...

Re: Original Style vs. Polyurethane Front End
PST has "polygrahite" bushings which are polyurethane bushings impregnated with grahite so they are self lubricating. However, they don't carry the lower control arm bushing in polygraphite, so if you go that route you'll have to use rubber or polyurethane for the lower. I believe their kit includes...

Re: Engine paint colour
All this talk about "correct" or "incorrect" clones and no one said anything about the motor being a 360? Yes Redline337 the motor will be a 360. I see that 340's are getting harder to find and more $$$ to buy. And with alot of the other B-Bodies have big blocks I figure I'll build something differ...

Re: Aluminum Radiator
I've seen em on Feebay for much cheaper and with built-in tranny cooler. One thing to look for before ordering one is the tube size. Most of the cheap ones have tiny tubes which means less cooling area. I've researched quite a bit on these and for the price the Griffins seem like the way to go. Of ...

I like these too. I have Keystone Classics on mine (14s though. not sure how wide). They look similar to the magnum 500s.DixieSatellite wrote:I have always liked 15 x 7 Magnum 500s

Re: WANT DIFFERENT WHEELS...WHAT DO YOU LIKE
You can put a '73 or '74 Road Runner hood on a '71 or '72 Road Runner. But you have to have a bodyman rework the front sections of the hood to flatten it out. As the hood on the front corners is raised up to match the fenders of the '73 & '74 Runner. Can't be too hard, as I've seen it done on sever...

Re: Concourse Restoration
Not to steal the thread, but I got a question for you guys. Since a mouse tore most of my broadcast sheet to pieces, is it still important to have the scraps? The Serial number and other information IS legible, but its on about 5 scraps of paper. Thank god some of those scraps had the wheel and tir...

Re: Headlight & Wiper Knob Restoration
I was told by a guy with a 71 hemi GTX (I'm not sure if he's on here) that the rocker mouldings for the 71 GTX are different from the 71 Satellite. Does anyone have pics of both of them? I'm trying to decide if I should grind the pins off when I paint, or if I should try to locate the trim.

I e-mailed a parts request almost a week ago and haven't heard back. How long does it normally take for someone to respond to one?
