Re: Holley Terminator EFI
The “mystery hole” was used primarily for various optional equipment, factory and dealer installed. Installed many factory retrofit cruise control kits that incorporated a molded grommet on the harness sized for that hole back in the day. On the Dodge side, vacuum hoses or wiring for concealed headl...

Re: Ultimate Wiring Picture Guide 71 Plymouth / Dodge Bbody
Fairly easy conversion, done it many times, will need the conversion harness that comes with the kit, or can be purchased separately. Done correctly, can’t tell it wasn’t factory.

Re: Ultimate Wiring Picture Guide 71 Plymouth / Dodge Bbody
All wiring for power windows used separate harnesses, 5 in total. Power taken off the alternator side of the amp gauge, harness running to a circuit breaker and relay mounted externally to the fuse box. On to the driver side kick panel. Connecting to another harness running down the left side wire c...

Re: Wiring harness front to back
While I appreciate a vendor like M&H for supplying fairly accurate reproductions of original wiring harnesses, they can’t make every combination the factory used. There are factory variations in these harnesses from year to year and between Dodge and Plymouth. Haven’t seen much offered for model yea...

Rear body harness? Connects to the dash harness at the driver’s side kick panel, six way Packard connector, runs back to the rear bumper harness connector(4-way Molex), with split off for fuel tank sender and un-switched power for optional trunk light. http://i226.photobucket.com/albums/dd81/dewilki...

Re: Correct placement of 1972 GTX emblems?
SSPjeff never posted engineering diagrams on this thread as I recall, just the parts catalog diagrams. What model diagrams are you looking for, Satellite or Road Runner? http://72rrgtx.com/carpics/Diagrams/72stripes1.jpg Then here is the engineering diagram that supporst the A/G equipped call outs t...

Re: Correct placement of 1972 GTX emblems?
These should be the pages posted originally from the ’72 parts catalog used by some to position some badging, in my experience incorrectly. The parts manuals were designed only to locate the general placement of parts for the purpose of identifying part numbers. In many cases the proportions and loc...

Re: Removing (separating) upper control arms
Before unloading the torsion bars, back the nut off a couple of turns, careful placement of some hammer blows to the side of the spindle knuckle should free the tapper with minimal impact.
