Re: Sloppy steering

Not sure if it has been posted up to their website or not, but Mopar Action did a 3-part session on just this issue early last year. Involves finding the 'high spot' on your steering column (making sure that all the 'master splines' are aligned with the 12-'o'clock position on the steering wheel), ...

Re: Bucket seat interchangeability

Does anyone make foams for the 71/72 seats? I have had a set of the black/orange covers for a long time now and a few sets of seats...but I don't know of anyone making b-body seat foams.

Re: 73 74 RR diecast petition

Yes they should make a diecast 73-74 Roadrunner. they make diecast of the new wnat to be classics so why not a real classic. On the dukes of Hazzard show they had a 73 for the first few shows then painted a 71-72 Roadrunner with the 73 stripes so make one of a REAL 73-74 Roadrunner. thank you 73noh...

Re: Map light lenses and assemblies

I was just going thru my pile of parts last night and just noticed that I do have one of these panels with the light...the panel itself looks straight, but as usual, the lense is all brown and fubar'd. Any chance that you would offer the parts (lense, switch, wiring) seperately? Looks great as of now!

Re: Recommended Car Stereo?

72RRGTX, thnks for that link. That was a pretty slick way of dealing with all the components as well as even using the newer display and features. Very slick.

Re: Recommended Car Stereo?

On that subject. Does anyone know of a source for showing the best way to swap new internals into an original housing?

Re: Sloppy steering

With regards to the 'rag joint' you can't buy a complete coupler, but you can buy most if not all the parts to rebuild them. There are plenty of sources out there that tell you how to do it.

Re: 74 RoadRunner oil pan

As others said, you'll need a rear or center sump oil pan. I think the truck and Cordobas have the right pans. Not sure of the numbers though.

Re: Look what we found in a parking garage

Holy Hell!

Well, I would imagine that the landlord could easily put a lien on the car if it has been considered abandoned. How the hell does someone let a sub-30,000 mile GTX sit in a PARKING GARAGE for that long? How has no one 'walked off' with it???

Re: Steering column

I'm pretty sure there should be a plate with a bushing that the column sits in...lemme see if I can find a picture.

Looks like this...this is listed under RT Specialties for 71-74 E bodies, but should be the same as B-bodies.

Re: Help with Rad Question

It 'should' work as long as the inlet and outlet ports on the rad match your water pump housing outlet...and that it is a 26", 3-core.

That's just from my memory, others may have more accurate input.

Re: Using 71 quarter glass in a 72

All 2-door upper interior panels, front & back. Will interchange between the '71 to '74 B-bodies. Where it gets tricky is whether you want the car to be "correct" for a restoration. Then yes, there can be differences between them. *wipes brow* Good to know, thanks for the heads-up. But this ...

Re: Using 71 quarter glass in a 72

Makes me wonder if you could just use an entire assembly/glass out of a '71. :? i put in all 71 tint glass in my 72 road runner That would make more sense to me...not sure why the carrier design would have changed, but I would have guessed that the entire assembly could be swapped. In any event, I ...

The rear 1/4 glass in my April '72-built SSP is tempered glass, which can't be cut. :(
