Steering Column Question

I am converting my 73 Satellite from auto on the column to console. I rebuilt my column shifted column and it works perfect. I have a column from a standard trans car that is a little rough and is missing the shaft that goes from inside the column to the steering box. This is the part that has the p...

Re: ? about headers

Jeff, I'm probably late answering you on this, but IMHO save yourself a BIG Headache and just get the tti's. No other header I've seen or used fits like tti's. I put coated Hooker Headers on my 73 Satellite, and they fit terribly. The drivers side drops below the k frame and captures the starter. Yo...

Re: T-Shirts

Bruce have you thought of using the site icons for a tshirt? Or if you are weary of seeing the site icons, the coming up with new ones and using them for a shirt? I for one would be interested!

Re: 17" Year one Rallyes are here!

I love them and want a set for my 73 Satellite. Please be sure to post pictures when they are on the car. The 0 offset looks great for the rear fitment. What size tires do you plan on going with?

Looks very Good! I just picked up a rallye cluster for my 73 Satellite, and it is in good shape but needs restoring. I have definitely picked up a few good pointers from you. Thanks for the post!

Re: console diagram pic needed

Scatpak, how did you make out on the conversion? I am thinking of doing the same thing on my 1973 Satellite which is currently a column shift. BTW thanks for the diagrams guys, they are excellent and very useful to me as well!

I eliminated the rubber isolators and went solid like 71-72. Best thing I ever did!!!

Re: Newb that loves his '71 SSP

You Really should keep the car! I love the pics of it during your senior prom! You should be proud of the job you did with it. I know I would be! If you sell this car, when times are better you will buy another car to fix up and regret not having the car your heart was in. Unlike me you've had the f...

Re: Is there any love for the 73-74 RR?

Any parts for my 73 are a welcome addition! I sees they are finally reproducing sill plates for quite a bit less than NOS pieces, and I now have a pair. Another thing I would like to see is repro headlight buckets. I just got a price on restoring mine of around 400-450 for the pair....I think I coul...

Re: I'm stoked!

i say keep the wheels, looks great! Me Too!! Cop Wheels look great on all things MOPAR!! I just can't help myself with questions about wheel selection and tire size. My police wheels on my 78 Dodge pickup measure 7.5" wide with a set of calipers that came with a tire machine. The tire is still on th...

Are those cop wheels? It looks like you are keeping them because they have been painted to match the car. What size tires are you going to use?

Re: 1973 Satellite Build

Nice car!I especially like the fact you didn't make it a RR clone! Thanks!! I've never thought there was anything wrong with keeping it a Satellite. If I could have ordered one new for 1973-74, I probably would have ordered an SSP. Mine is a Sebring, but I find I am ending up putting a lot of Plus ...
