Re: Good to GO!

ok, so help me understand this, because I can't read the headings (perhaps a photograph of someone elses REAL broadcast sheet with the macro ON would help me see/understand the headings, esp. the dark headings), which are completely illegible right now. the last 1/2 of line two reads.... P6 Y3 GY4 V...

Re: Good to GO!

More info: 1-71 build date GY9 gold exterior GY4 gold vinyl top P6Y3 gold Interior (if I read the broadcast correctly) then number between the top color and the car color is V31. what is that? I only have a copy of a copy of a fax of a broadcast sheet. I have a couple numbers on top that I can call.

Re: New Guy here

it's the reason Road Atlanta will probably close in the next 10 years.

stupid people built neighborhoods with HUGE houses out there, then whine about the noise. Ummm...the track was there since 1971...I'm sorry your realtor didn't tell you about the racetrack in your back yard.

Good to GO!

Yeah baby!!!

I got the inspection done on the GTX (bill of sale GA car), and I could go tomorrow and get my tag!

I kicked off the resto shop to get the car in the air, and we'll drop the suspension off so we can work on the underside.

I'm so totally stoked right now!

Pics to come.

Re: Nesters in Georgia. .

there's actually a couple places in my neighborhood...

skip the homeowners associations! Buy something 20 years old or older...newer construction can get sketchy.

Lawrenceville, Checking in. '71 GTX at the resto shop...we'll meet some of you guys, then have a couple garage days to build the 440 and put her back together. I highly recommend getting a feel for traffic, then living in the most ideal place for a good commute. What do you do? (Or are you a Mr. Mom...

Re: New to the Site

+1 on the "new here"!! I'm steve, out of the atlanta area. I just purchased my dream car, a 1971 GTX. It's 90% disassembled right now. 440-4 car, Tawny Gold, Gold Top. I'm here to learn, and probably will have a million questions as I embark on this journey. If the timeline holds, I'll hopefully hav...
