door top trim clips

My GTX has the door top trim. what do the clips look like that hold the trim in place? I've got 3 of the 4 pieces, and if someone has a passenger side

I found these for an E-body...maybe they were the same?

Re: Replacement radiator

This is the aluminum one I have.

nice welds, fit pretty well, had to trim a tiny notch where it fit up against the pinch rail on my passenger side.

Re: Small world

I don't claim to have all of the 1972 RRs serial numbers but out of the 389 numbers so far I've collected over the years. I've seen others that haver close serial numbers with one being built at St. Louis an the other in Canada, and they're months apart. Yeah, it makes me scratch my head too! :? as...

Re: In light of my recent discover

I've been watching values recently of "drive them anywhere" builds. Those sort of cars seem to be going up in price. There will always be call for a numbers matching car, but if you only have a shell, then a 5.7 or 6.1 swap that will start and drive just like a new car is definitely the way to go. I...

Re: Door tag

there was a guy in colorado that will make a new "restoration" VIN tag for you. you need to supply him with documentation about the car, including a signed police affadavit. I"ll try and remember to dig through my stuff, and see if I can find his name. I have a 2" thick folder of papers and receipts...

Re: Holley Terminator EFI

what about edelbrock's remote reservoir pump kit? I have a FAST EFI (love it, btw), and I just use mine as a returnless system (it's configurable like that). if I couldn't have run returnless, i'd have done it this way. http://www.jegs.com/i/Edelbrock/350/3605/10002/-1?CAWELAID=230006180000978175&CA...

cost savings? if the pressed one came second in the production run, i'm betting they needed to save a little money somewhere. Threads cost money to make.

Re: 1971 SSP Project

I have a theory on the complete color change cars. 1. it was just a used car. 2. it wasn't nearly as easy to find the color you wanted in your used car as it is today. I think people would get their car, and had the attitude, "but i always wanted it (insert color), so they'd hit earl scheib and $100...
