Re: Rear Seat Question

The top portion is not the issue. My Sebring lower part was the same as the SSP. What I was talking about was how the bottom appears to have been cut or it was made that way. I think that it should extend down next to the seat instead of even with the top of the seat.

Re: Stuck on car history, Any advice?

Since I bought my car new, history of it is pretty easy. One pretty cool thing that happened two years ago, I was traveling in Tennessee and met the son of the dealership owner of where I bought the car.

Re: A/C dryer mount and bracket

DSCN2738.JPG I cut this piece of metal a little bit longer (I think) than mine. Wrap it over the canister and then you will need to bend the end back some and drill a hole for the bolt. Maybe put end in vise, like I did. I'm not sure, but I think that square hole takes a carriage bolt. I just notic...

Re: Hood release attachment

If that is the part that you are talking about, turn the picture 1/4 turn counter clockwise, put the end of the release rod through the single hole and the other two holes should line up with holes in the bumper. It attaches to the inside of the bumper.

Re: 71 SSP Side Marker Bezels

Ok, I was just wondering how far off they were. When I took my marker lights off (2 cars) I broke a couple of the studs. Lucky that I had eight bezels to choose from. If the nuts are for a different size diameter stud, I don't think I would use them. If they screw on alright and are just a tiny bit ...

Hey Patrick, are you still there. I was just wondering, are you using gaskets under your bezels. Ron.

Re: 71 SSP Side Marker Bezels

Are the nuts just a little short? Can you put a small washer on the stud first.

Re: Will they ever repop fenders?

I can see the use of fiberglass for racing, but for driving on the street, I would be interested in how the headlights would be mounted. Can a glass headlight bracket be attached, or rivet on a metal one, or what.

Re: Will they ever repop fenders?

I bought a parts car several years ago and needed to do something with my right fender. It was a toss up on which fender to save. I used the headlight bracket from one and put it on the other. I cut some more parts and fashioned patches from scratch. It was a lot of work, but I'm happy with the resu...
