Re: VIN stamp question
Looks like a nice car but there are a few things I can spot that are a bit off with it... not enough to make me doubt its a GTX though.

Re: The Curious Yellow b*tch is back
Weird... the listing at the top says "1971 Plymouth GTX 440 V8 4BBL, 4-Speed, PS, PB, I Code" and it looks like it now has a power brake booster but I dont see a power steering pump anywhere. I find that sooo odd that they put a vinyl top on it when it isn't even coded, I could see adding power stee...

Well like many people my working hrs have been cut back and I seem to have a bit of free time I would to put to some use. I figured it was time to try to make a 3d model of a '71 Road Runner / GTX / Satellite but I'm having a bit of trouble coming up with some good blueprint material to start with. ...

Re: Advice for a newbie
Yeah from time to time cars listed on TTB site show up on E-Bay. I think sometimes TTB sells vehicles for individuals or else this is just a scam since the location listed on the e-bay add is Argos, IN..... hard to say since the e-bay add shows a picture of the inside of the trunk which they don't s...

Re: V21 performance hood treatment
Ok thanks that makes sense.... maybe one of the reasons I'm confused is because I have seen many '72 performance hoods with the indent pin stripping. I will have to go back and look more closely at the '72s with the performance hoods. edit: I guess I just did a big search for '72 roadrunners and mos...

V21 performance hood treatment
Now what exactly does the V21 refer too? I see over on moparts there is a thread showing off some '72 RRs that have this type of stripe and they are calling it V21. My GTX has the V21 code but its for the hood depression pinstripes. Does V21 refer to any type of hood stripes? I have seen others refe...
