Re: Retiring

Congrats.....

I think I figured it out the other day and decided I might have enough $$ for a cardboard box on a street corner to retire to when I reach the age of 115.

Re: AFTERMARKET A.C.

I was thinking about a vintage air system for mine even though the only kit they make for mopar is 1970-74 Challenger/Barracuda New Gen IV Kit. I have heard it works fine but still a bit skeptical. Vintage air is only about a hr south of me and I have thought about going down there and talking with ...

I know what you mean back in high school we use to say every decal that is put on a car adds 5 to 10 more horsepower.

Re: #'s 440 to a '71 Plymouth here?

I always thought the HP and 6-pack motors all used the same internals as well... the heavier forged crank and rods I thought the difference is what is on top of the motor. A six pack block like that seems like it would only be valuable to the car it came from. (matching #s)

Re: Once and for all - The Tips debate may end here!!!!

Ryan I'm suprised on how good of condition those tips look when you compare it to the bottom of the quarter in that pic. My car, the body was solid when I bought but the insides of the tips were mostly rotted away. Those tips looked better then mine did when I bought my car.

that black GTX you posted the pic of its hard to see the size of the tip from that angle but if its the same one TX9GTXN96 linked to the tips look like shorties to me. Can really be hard to tell.

Re: Factory Original ?

Well you see so much more talk about numbers matching and such when dealing with mopars as a hobby then if you are building a Ford or Chevy. You get into dealing with those other makes they dont seem to bring up the issue as much as we do in the Mopar hobby and I'm not sure why. I remember when I pu...
