Patch panels for '73 quarter panels

Hey guys, does anybody make patch panels for '73 and '74 quarters? If not, will patch panels for a '72 work if you only need BELOW the body line and BEHIND the rear wheel opening? The buddy who needs these says he can get by without getting into the body lines. Will a '72 patch panel (made by AMD) w...

Re: The Future of the Road Runner Nest

That has been discussed, but I don't think it was really pursued... we should probably reconsider doing that.

I stand corrected Bruce!

It was a LOT of years ago. Before you joined the Nest believe it or not! So it's not like you would have any way of knowing. :D

Re: What's your color?

Well, mine is, but it's a Road Runner... Dale Matthews also has a white '71 RR here in NC. There was ONE white '71 GTX local to me, but closer inspection revealed it was a B5 car that had been repainted white. That's the LONG answer. In short I've only seen white '71 GTXs at Carlisle and not many of...

Re: The Future of the Road Runner Nest

Obviously count me in. If you all can read between the lines, Dave has been footing the whole cost of this site for many years now. I think we can all appreciate the benefits we've had from being a member here. That's not quite entirely true... I footed a SMALL initial investment along with Dave. B...

Re: 73-74 SUBFRAME CONNECTORS

Happened to talk to Chris at Car Tool today and brought up this question. He confirmed that there are no plans for '73 and '74 B-Body subframe connectors. He also confirmed that the connectors for '71s and '72s will NOT work on '73 and up cars due to the isolated cross members. Afraid it will defini...

Re: 73-74 SUBFRAME CONNECTORS

If you happen to go to Carlisle, AND this is something that can wait, you can probably get Car Tool to bring a '71-2 set there and get the show discount on them. AND you could talk to John face to face on whether they can be made to work on a '73 or '74.

Re: 73-74 SUBFRAME CONNECTORS

Believe it or not, my car was Car Tool's test mule for fitting subframe connectors to a '71–'72. The bad news is from what I understand, Car Tool has no plans to develop connectors for the '73 and up cars due to the issue you mention. :(
