Wow, I'm stunned they repop those. But if they actually make a complete set, good for you. :D

I saw those earlier tonight. I agree, buy them now. I think they are priced very fair, good luck finding another pair.

Re: New/old introduction

Welcome back! I remember both your old cars, the FE5 satellite and the 71 FC7 Super Bee. I have an FE5 71 Satellite, yours was a 72. I love the new Roadrunner you bought, very nice! It looks clean and sharp. Glad things worked out in your favor on selling the SB for the RR. Life is all about timing!...

Re: Michigan International Speedway this summer

Posting two more photos. Again, if anyone wants to meet up, let me know. There is no passing, and they say the max speed is 70 MPH, but I did just over 90 MPH, and a couple guys must have hit about 100/105 MPH. The pace car was really moving.

Re: Michigan International Speedway this summer

I live about 15 minutes from Milford. Are you heading there to meet at Bakers for the cruise in on Sunday as part of the tour? They always have a great turnout. Best cruise in spot, hands down! :D i think your headed to the GM Proving Ground....but Bakers is just 5 minutes southeast of the Proving g...

Michigan International Speedway this summer

Just thought I'd give anyone who is near Michigan International Speedway a heads up. They have a few fan appreciation days this summer. One thing they offer is a chance to take your car on the track for 3 laps...but when I went they did 6. The cost is only $25! It was really cool and it feels very d...

Re: Canopy Vinyl Roof

the 71 is a 2 piece set. I had mine off a few years ago when I replaced the top. The moldings are not stainless in 71, and they have a textured/grain. Mine is painted black to match my vinyl color.

Re: What would you do

I agree, keep the car! :D If you do bend, the best idea was the one about having the guy find you another GTX in the same or better condition. Not to keep repeating what others have already said, but if you sold this back and the guy just flipped it or put a tarp on it, it would make my blood boil :...

Re: console

I have a factory cassette in my car. Yes, holes on the front of the console. Here is a photo of a GTX with a after market radio inside a factory set up. I saw this twice. It can look decent if you do it nice. On the flip side, I've seen a few turds.
