Re: Startin to work on the Clone Runner (it's PAINTED!)
Loving it! Still too cold in SD to do anything on my ride. I was just going through some of my registry files, and its kinda funny that the three of us (you, me, and ct71RR) that are posting progress on our cars, all 3 of them are GY8 gold cars. Keep the progress going!

Re: 1972 RR color code question
Very nice FBRR! Have you contacted Eric at the 71-72 Plymouth B-body registry about your car? I am sure he would like to hear about it. You can contact him at:
PlymouthBbodyregistry7172@outlook.com
Good luck and have fun with that RR!

Re: How many 71 GTX s where built in Los Angeles Plant
Steering wheels come up on eBay or Facebook marketplace once in a while, and the rims also. Good quality original items are very pricey. Both you can get as reproduction items at various Mopar parts places like Year One, etc - there are a ton of places to choose from. You can also put some Wanted ad...

Re: How many 71 GTX s where built in Los Angeles Plant
Unfortunately, those items only show up on the broadcast sheet. And broadcast sheets are a pretty rare find in LA plant cars compared to the St. Louis plant cars. So with no solid documentation, it is left to the owners taste on what to choose for the steering wheel and rims. Personally, I like the ...

Re: How many 71 GTX s where built in Los Angeles Plant
Unfortunately, those specific numbers are likely buried in the Chrysler vaults forever. With only 327 GTX 440/4spds shipped to US dealerships, and with St. Louis Assembly plant being the primary Plymouth B-Body producer, not that many came out of the Windsor and LA plants. A very rough guesstimate w...

Re: My RR resto project
Whoa! Big jump in progress! Looking awesome. What did you decide engine wise on this one - I remember you posting the original 383 was long gone, but a 1969 year 383 was in its place?

Re: My RR resto project
Lotsa good progress here through 2018, any updates? Or did it go on the "back burner"?
Thanks, Scott.

Re: Startin to work on the Clone Runner (it's PAINTED!)
Finally remembered to measure my original package tray piece - and you are spot on with 58 1/2". If I end up with gaps like that, I might have to just lay some extra material in the gaps to hide the metal showing through. For the lower tabs on the upper rear seat frame - my tabs are slightly bent in...

Re: Startin to work on the Clone Runner (it's PAINTED!)
Yeah, I would not like the fit on that rear package tray piece also. Throw a tape measure on that baby and let me know how long it is. I have my broken original that I can measure to see if the lengths match up or not.

Re: Daddy's Stinky Car progress page - updated for 2021.
Excellent work Scott! I assume you put some sort of protection on the inside of the rockers? Yes, Eastwood makes a rust encapsulator spray can that comes with an 18" flexible spray hose. You run the hose into your frame rails or rockers or wherever, and slowly remove the hose as you spray. Pretty s...

Those look pretty good! Were you able to get all your plastics done with just 1 can of the SEM stuff?
