Re: Sunroof stuff

Road Chicken, Good to hear from you again! I am interested in seeing what your power sunroof manual looks like - I wonder if it is any different than the manual I have posted on my Mopar Sunroof Registry website. I am sure that we could post it here also under one of the forum sections. I am guessin...

Re: Starting a 1973-1974 Plymouth B body Registry

All 73-74 owners - I have just surpassed 100 St. Louis cars in the registry now - so I have got a statistics page set up for those that can be found here: https://sites.google.com/view/1973-74-plymouth-b-body-regist/statistics?authuser=0 I still need some additional participation from 1974 owners, a...

Re: Another Plymouth B-Body Sunroof car saved...well...maybe...yes!

Even though I won't get started on this car for several years, I did want to try and straighten out the roof line a bit so the rain and snow would not sit in the sunken areas of the car cover. So with a few new tools and a little bit of mild weather, I drug my floor jack out to the car corral and go...

Getting some bonus work in this Fall - temps in the 60s today! Finished up the bodywork on the drivers rocker and got some primer on it.

Re: Option for 2 toned buckets

I believe the orange and black "Halloween" interior is the only two tone interior that I can remember. Other models had "Houndstooth" options, and 73-74 B-Bodies had some interesting interiors also.

Re: Daddy's Stinky Car progress page - updated for 2021.

Not as much progress as I had hoped this year, but am getting a little done. I replaced my driver's side outer rocker a long time ago, but had not finished up all the welding on it. So I managed to get that all finished up this month and it is ready for a little filler and some primer. Please excuse...

Re: Rear bumper guards - was that available??

I can't find a picture of the rubber strip on the back bumper - but it ran clear across the top portion of the bumper. I think Eric has a picture of the rear bumper guards. Bumper guards were not optioned on very many vehicles - around 4% of RR's got them, and around 6.5% of GTX's got them.

Re: Rear bumper guards - was that available??

Peter Swainson's Curious Yellow GTX is coded for M81 front bumper guard on the build sheet, and the car is sporting that plastic/rubber strip on the bottom of the front bumper.

Re: Rear bumper guards - was that available??

I have never seen that style of bumper guard on a 1971 rear bumper, and my collision parts manual does not show that part either. There is space on the 1971 build sheet for M81, M83, M85 bumper guards, but I think those are the plastic/rubber guards that mount directly on the bumpers on our 71's. Bu...

Nick did get back to me and he said he has been out of the Mopar world for quite a few years. He did sell the 1971 Tawny Gold GTX along with several other Mopars.

Re: Hood spacing adjustment

Yes, you will just have to fiddle with the hood hinges and the hood wedges to get it all lined up. It's a pain, and usually takes some time. Make very small adjustments each time. You may have to play with washer thickness or thin shims to get it perfect. Remember you can make adjustments where the ...

I still had an email for Nick in my rolodex - so I zapped him a message to let him know that you were wondering if he was still in the Mopar world. We will see if he gets back to us.

Re: Headlamp delay relay and reminder buzzer locations

Another good discussion on the Charger forum on the buzzer and delay relays. Mentions the buzzer as part of the A01 light package, and the delay as a separate option. Also says that the delay relay is mounted on the dash frame next to the ash receiver/tray (page 2 of discussion). https://wichargergu...
