Re: Anybody know this car?
That's really cool that you've seen the car firsthand. I'm just curious as to whether it's a survivor car or restored. It looks too clean to be a survivor, but I doubt it's had a full blown resto. I'd really like to talk to the guy firsthand, rather than some guy selling it for him who only can't te...

Just curious...I saw it on Car Domain a long time ago. It's still in Mich., but at a dealer, maybe selling on consignment

Re: Ronnie James Dio Dead at age 67
I just saw this. I guess it's old news now. I was real bummed and shocked when it happened. I have a real association between Dio and my first car, a MINT 72 Satellite. It was 82 or 83 and Dio hit it big with Holy Diver. I was obsessed with that album. I didn't have money for a cassete player so I d...

Re: Nesters in Georgia. .
What a shame...I can't find it on Craigslist Atlanta....tried every combination of terms to pull up the ad. I can only assume that it is cancelled..car sold.?.. I'd had thrown down the cash asap...I was ready to leave my house right now. What a neat ride. Too bad the guy did not post a link to the a...

http://milwaukee.craigslist.org/pts/1174077845.html Here's your moonroof / sunroof. AND IT IS IN WISCONSIN TOO!!! :) I'd buy this if I was up north. Too far for me. I like the idea of a rust free SSP to play with. The roof would be fun. Definitly resto mod. I'd go for EFI for sure with some late dri...

Rare, but rough..cheap? In West Va.
This sure would make a nice car...looks awful rough, but maybe cheap with no reserve. He didn't play up the sunroof so much in his ad...

Re: RUST FRONT FRAME RAILS........
Pics? ...is it just allocated to the front? I'd imagine that the rust would be all over..quarters and floors....rear frame rails...is the front just the issue? Hope there is a solution...It'd be a lot of work to fab in a good set of rails from a donor car, but if it's not so bad elsewhere, then it m...

Re: 72 400HP Engine ID question
if the block is out of whatever it came from, the date code is on the side of the block on the passenger side. i believe you should have a letter (i think '66 was A, so should say F) then 400 and be stamped HP after that Okay, so the designation for HP is on the passenger's side... This one turned ...

72 400HP Engine ID question
I found a 400 engine for sale somewhat locally...I wanted to know if it would be stamped HP on it to determine if it was a 72 400HP Road Runner engine. I'd like to have the fellow inspect it and report his findings to me. I can describe where the engine casting number is on the lower driver's side a...

Re: rare hood
Looks like a pretty solid body in the pics..too bad someone disassabled it without being prepared to put it back together...if it has the fender tag, it could be a good buy (unless it's waaaayyy rustier than it looks)

Re: 71 RR Steering wheel interchange question
Okay then, this all makes sense...My car is an A87 vehicle....so this 72 wheel is correct...Sitting on the floor I found the steering wheel center, missing the emblem. The center looks very useable, but someone swiped the emblem :( Year One showed no emblems like that for a 71....of course they are ...
