Re: 1971 Road Runner Help & Questions
Sorry, whats FBBO? I'm not up on a lot of this stuff. I don't care what THEY say, anything can be saved. And that car deservers it.Just like the 71 SSP close to me, high option car, it deserves it too. For B Bodies Only.com What I have noticed on that forum is they are more snobish than E-body owners.

Re: New Guy Checking In "From VA"
I was just about to tell you to come over to this forum. The guys on FBBO don't know anything about the 71-74 Road Runners. At least here they actually know how to restore one of these cars. They should be able to tell you straight.

Why don't you try swapping the guts from a new one, they're cheap and you wouldnt have anything to loose.

Have you considered removing your dash as an assembly?4 bolts up top and two on the side and you can get to all the stuff behind the dash to make wiring easier.

Dixie Restorations says they have the correct pad, but thats if you want to spend $80 on a little pad that no one will ever see!

Looks nice, nothing a little cleaning, repainting, and rust repair couldn't fix. Or just drive the wheels off like it is.

Unless its really cheap I would go with AMD, they have good quality stuff even if they cant tell the difference between a 69 and a 72 Dart floor p...

From what I have seen the repros are just a flat black primer out of the box. The spoiler should be painted an organisol black or a semi gloss/satin should do.
