Re: Dash Wiring Harness
What I'm saying is the basic wiring to run the car will be there however, you may have to modify the harness depending on what equipment your car has vs the car the harness came out of. If your starting from scratch it may be wise to buy a repop harness with wired exactly for the way your car is / w...

Re: Dash Wiring Harness
I wouldn't think so but based more on the equipment from dash to dash than the wiring between years. I know headlight switches interchange- but if you had a 2 or 3 speed wiper the wires are different. Between the basic heater and full AC/ Strato-vent it would vary. Dash back-lighting?,blinkers, powe...

Re: Big block aluminum cylinder heads
I swapped the stock top end for Eddys RPM heads and intake. With about 4 k on them I'm pretty happy. 383, .030 over, .010 down and .040 gaskets give 9.3 and it runs very well on 89 octane. The old school 484 cam with 17degrees initial and 38 total. Never pings and still running the stock exhaust man...

How many miles have you put on your car this year
Just curious to see what the mileage is over the summer months. Since i finally have the drive-train sorted out I'm just over 2000 and will probably hit 3 K before it gets put away.

Re: Making a spreadbore out of a squarebore manifold
Thanks, but I've had my fill of Holley based anything, ( Just personal experience with my engine combos) and I've always wanted the TQ back under the hood. They just work best for my applications, which are usually pretty feisty off idle. The triple primary boosters are the best mixers short of fuel...

Re: Making a spreadbore out of a squarebore manifold
Well after goofing around with all this I settled on a Demon 1904. I forgot who made the suggestion to use a Demon but you were definitely right. It is certainly a modern version of the TQ with the short comings of the original engineered out. Of all the holleys and carters i've had on the car- this...

3/8" gas tank pick up/ sending unit with return line
If anyone buys one of these units that has a return line fitting that isn't used, make sure to seal off the return line with a cap that is rated for use with fuels. Had a rude awaking today- two years after installing mine. Filled the tank and went in to pay for the fuel. When I came back out there ...

Ok, Got word back form AMD. The reinforcements are part of the structure that, ( if your car had serious rust) are usually needed to do the replacement properly.

Re: Disc brake conversion kits
I know you asked about kits, but it really isn't that hard to do in parts swapping http://www.moparaction.com/tech/archive/disc-main.html This is a basic breakdown of chrysler parts you can use to do the conversion. It covers more years and lines than just ours so read carefully. The small bearing d...

AMD 71 Quarterpanels with and without "inner reinforcement"?
HI all. I'm gathering the last parts for the body on the runner and one of those is a new full left side quarter from AMD. My question is what is the difference between the quarter panel with and without the "inner reinforcement"? My unit has been sectioned around the wheel well but no rust or damag...
