Re: The Curious Yellow b*tch is back

Yes it did. I remember one of the pics showed quite a bit of rot in the cowl on the passenger side that he did not mention when we spoke on the phone (I think from a mouse nest). The floors were absolutely perfect though! Cool car, but certainly not as nice as he made it sound  I think he woul...

Re: STUPID QUESTION OF THE DAY

Hey Jim, don't know the answer to your question, but how did the NOS inner fender wells that you bought for a steal at Carlisle work out for you? Did Ed J. end up with the TX9 '69 GTX?

Re: The Curious Yellow b*tch is back

BTW- Jeff from Legendary Auto Interiors was selling his personal GY3/GY3 '71 GTX last year or so, also a manual steering car, but it had power discs which automatically came with the A34 Super Track Pak and it also had the N96 Air Grabber option. Anyone here on the Nest buy it? I was thinking hard a...

Re: The Curious Yellow b*tch is back

I guess with a car that only 327 were made, there's a good chance you will end up bumping into it again :D While I think the black top looks great on GY3 cars, I still think it is nuts to put one on where it does not belong

Re: NO DOOR SKINS FOR US....

Wow, from what I have seen with the '71-2 cars, the doors are almost always rotted and are very hard to find in staright, rust-free condition! Can't believe they aren't taking on the project.

Re: The Curious Yellow b*tch is back

Does the VIN match up to your old GY3 car? While I really like the look of old Mopars with vinyl tops, I am in the minority as most guys don't like and them and I have not seen anyone adding a vinyl top to a car that originally was not coded for one... But, you never know

Re: '71 440 intake correct casting number?

Hey Nick,

Smae here on my GTX(Dec. '70 St.Louis car), it has a '70 style 4-spd console with the seat belt holder and no ashtray... The '71 383 4-spd RR I used to own was the same way (Sept. '70 SPD Windsor car).

Re: 71 Elastomeric bumpers in TX9?

Wow, bummer! Rubber bumpers were the one option I really wanted to ad, but only if correct. On '70-71 E-bodies, rubber bumpers were originally only available with certain colors and TX9 and EW1 were not on the list, but, that changed later in the year. I was hoping the same deal held true on the '71...

71 Elastomeric bumpers in TX9?

Was it possible to get the elastomeric (rubber) bumpers on a TX9 B-body in '71? If so, any pics out there of one?

Re: '71 440 intake correct casting number?

Thanks for the great information, howeverI'm missing the significance of the fender tags? That 2nd tag looks like someone reattached the tag with incorrect screws and stuck the diff tag under it? Any idea why there is no casting date on top of my intake? Only a weird "11 X 10" on the bottom. If the...
