Does anyone have an image of the heat exchange part that attached to the exhaust manifold and had the flexible tubing that connected to the underside of the air breather to activate the choke flap for a 1972 Road Runner 400 cu in? I would like to know what it looks like?
Thanks,
Jeff

Re: 1972 Code question
To everyone,
You are the best thanks for all your help with the decoding. Again, Thanks so much. It is really hard to make the C2X9 out. It does make sense because I do have the deluxe black bench seat. Also, the C21 was confusing, I thought it was a date just not sure what?:D

I am not getting paid to do this but I have to say that the Wellborn Museum is fantastic. It mostly has Mopar's with a few extremely rare Fords, Chevy's, and Pontiac's. Some ...

Decoding Clarification
I noticed in the 10/10/12 post by ahmincha "1972 Satellite Sebring Post" that the roof code V4X is for a black canopy vinyl roof. The broadcast sheet for my '72 Road Runner has V4X for the Roof-Pnt Style Top. My vin code is RM23 (2-door hardtop). Is it likely that my original roof was a black vinyl ...

Re: My Inspiration
Yes, I did notice the strpe is real close to the quarter. That is how I am going to replace the new stripe once I am done with the paint. The pictures were taken sometime in late 1972 do not have actual dates. That red bird was cool.
