Re: your restoration opinion
as far as big block being something going for it 383 was the base any other option even the 340 in a 71 road runner should make it more valuable to most Its just my opinion but a small block in a B body, I wouldn't even consider it, nor would anyone I know, especially today when you can buy a lowly...

Re: your restoration opinion
Do what makes you happy. If you have to put any real money into it, you will not get it back. These cars are going dirt cheap these days. Your car has a couple of things going for it being a big block 4spd but it is a Sat and "only" a 383. Fully restored in original excellent condition you would be ...

Re: Tire size question
Awesome! nice ride. Man I'd love to go for a burn in that. Do you have a hood with a cut out for it?
I can't think of a body style, well maybe an E body, that screams for meaty tires these these do

I'd always be worried about it getting dirty. I had two black cars...never again. Black and white both look great clean but get one spot on it and

Re: Tire size question
I have 295 50 15's on a 10" rim with 5" backspacing. Its so close I need to roll the fender lip slightly because if the car is loaded with people and you go around a corner and hit a bump, the tires will rub. If the rims had 5.5" BS, I'd be golden as there is enough room at the spring.

Re: 71 RR on youtube
As others have said, there's not enough information provided to decide if its a clone or not. You need to verify all the numbers. The car has been "personalized" quite a bit. I dont see that as a good or bad thing as long as YOU like it. Personalizing can affect the price negatively unless you find ...

Re: Subframe Connector Help?
With welding in sub-frame connectors, how do you seal the welds on the inside so they dont rust, or is that something not to worry about?
With torque boxes there is a hole, so you can spray inside after they're welded in.

Re: 71 GTX Finished
Gorgeous! A few questions if you dont mind  1. Did you already have the door sill trim? Did it need restoring? 2. Awesome floor matts, where can I get a set? 3. Did you already have the plastic "Plymouth" center piece for the steering wheel? I've been trying to find a nice piece for 3 years now...
