Re: need pics of one-piece kickdown linkage hooked-up

landon1 See attached pic of a 440 challenger I once owned. It had a later model block, I think a 76, that the previous owner installed. The pic shows the type of kickdown level that is on your engine. I believe this kickdown rod is from a later model like a late 70's version. Anyway, I had to use so...

Re: "First" 71 Road Runner

My 71 RR has L31 coded hood mounted turn signal lights/cables. They appear to be the original equipment. The drivers side wire is approximately 24" and the passenger side wire approximately 36 inches.

Re: weekend plans (more progress)

Landon1 - I was looking at your pics and it appears you installed the mufflers with the inlet to the center connection of the muffler and the outlet to the side connection. I thought it was the opposite. I know my current mufflers are side inlet and center outlet. Several muffler shops also told me ...

Re: weekend plans (more progress)

I received my kit yesterday and it too is IMCO. Looks just like the kit in your post. I figured Jegs and Summit were using the same source for these kits. Went to have the pipes installed today, only to find out that I was shorted two pipes from Jegs. Bummer! Now waiting for the missing pipes to arr...

Re: weekend plans (more progress)

Love the sound and tone of your new exhaust. I called Summit yesterday and spoke with a technical rep about their exhaust kit and he stated that the exhaust kit had turn downs at the ends of the tail pipes. This was also indicated on the website pic. So I ordered the 2.5" kit from Jegs that has the ...

Re: weekend plans (more progress)

Does the kit have a turn down at the end of the tail pipe or straight? Any pics installed?
Thanks,

Re: Wheels for 71

My vote is for the second rim "link" you posted. The type that look similiar to the old Hurst 5-spoke rims. That said, I just installed 15" Magnum 500s on my 71 RR. See below for reference.
