Re: 1971 Hood turn signal location
Is it possible with the more centrally located turn signal indicators that there was some interference with the wiring and the air cleaner? See attached pic of my 71 RR with the rear hood mounted indicators. If you look at the location of where the center mounted indicator would be there is possibly...

Re: Retrosound Radio System Installed in 71 Roadrunner
Thank-you for the info, it helps alot. I'm looking into it now. I have a faceplate to gauge the pots from my indefinately suspended marriage of old and new Chrysler radio project from another post. I still would love to do that project but too other projects to devote the time and focus. someday. T...

Re: Retrosound Radio System Installed in 71 Roadrunner
Ron M The bracket came with the radio as ordered from RetroSound. It was listed as 1971-74 Plymouth Roadrunner AM/FM Radio system w/ extended bracket. I also thought about ordering from Crutchfield, but played it safe by going directly to RetroSound. You might call Crutchfield and see if they can ge...

Re: Where does everyone order from?
R/T Specialties -Tom is sometimes hard to reach by phone during the show seasons as he goes to a lot of them. Best to try and build your list ahead of time and place your order when you can contact him.

Dangina - The Retrosound does not have a separate out for a subwoofer. It has 4 RCA outputs, 2 front, 2 rear. See the manual at bottom of the page of this link. http://www.retrosoundusa.com/faq

Re: 71 Roadrunner not starting
A 71 RR does have a fusible link. It is found connected to the large stud on the starter relay and the other end is connected to a fairly large red wire via black connector. Check the fusible link wire where it enters the two connectors. See pic below.

Re: Retrosound Radio System Installed in 71 Roadrunner
Capsule - That's a well thoughout addition which does have a 70s flavor. I debated whether to cut the door panels an mount speakers or use the dash speaker location. I mounted my speakers in the dash for now and am still considering the door mounting. How did you drill the wire holes in the jambs wi...

Re: Wheels and Tires Codes on Broadcast Sheet?
Thanks,
I found the correct boxes now. This is on my broadcast sheet; Wheels Road 36, Color TX9 (black I think) and Spare 00. What does the 36 and 00 indicate?

Wheels and Tires Codes on Broadcast Sheet?
Where on the broadcast sheet would you find the original tire and wheel combination for a 1971 Roadrunner? I have my broadcast sheet and don't quite understand where to look for these items.
Thanks,
Ron
