Re: 1971 Satellite, Road Runner, GTX Features Training Film
Cool film. How does one get a copy of that? Are there many original copies out there? As for the 1972 film. They make a little unit called a Dazzle 80 that takes the signal out of the RCA jacks on a VCR and feeds it into a computer. I think there are newer units that plug right into a USB port. Just...

Re: pics!! 1971 road runner
Eric is like the Government when it comes to our B-bodies - he knows and sees everything  He probably knows when your car had its last oil change. Just kidding. He keeps a pretty decent database of 71-74 B-bodies. He is a numbers guy like me - so if you have any questions on option code...

Re: Inherited 1972 Roadrunner/GTX 440
There is nothing like restoring a classic on a low budget. It makes you appreciate the end product when it is done, and you learn a lot doing most of the work yourself. Check out my low budget resto sometime on my cardomain page. And like everyone else has said, join a local car club - you gain an i...

Re: Brake questions
Mopar Action did an extensive article on converting 62-72 B bodies to disc. The article can be found here: http://www.moparaction.com/tech/archive/disc-main.html This article shows how you can convert to discs using later model parts (mid to late 70s stuff). The advantage to this is the replacement ...

Just wait until you break open your heater/air conditioning box. That was the penthouse for the little critters in my car.

Yep, spotted his stuff already. Just exploring all options for saving a dollar here and there. Figured if I could find a suitable material, I could just make them myself. Thanks for the feedback! Scott.

What type of material are most of the splash shields made?
Several of the splash shields/guards on our cars are made of a flat rubbery substance about 1/8 of an inch thick. Since I have most of my original pieces, I figure if I found the right material, I could just cut my own new ones. Does anyone know if this material is available for sale at a hardware/a...

K Frame Isolators on 71-72s
I have seen rubber isolators for the "K Frame" on 1973 and 1974 cars, but did they have anything similar to those on the 1971-1972 cars? When I disassembled my Sebring Plus, I don't remember even seeing a thin gasket. Are the 1971-1972s just bolted solidly to the front frame rails? Thanks.

Re: 71 & 72 rear tail light lens ?
Good catch Larry! I forgot the 72 bumpers swoop down a bit below the tail lights.

Repainting the Fender Tag
When I was looking through Ryans photos of his gorgeous GTX, I noticed that he did not repaint his fender tag. I have seen this done on other cars that have been restored. Is this just a way to show the originality of the car, or is there more to this?
