Re: My RR resto project

Thanks. The fitment of the torque boxes was great. Little to no trimming. Got mine from Resto Rick

Re: My RR resto project

I sure haven't posted much here but I want to, due to someone posting bogus crap on here. Hopefully, with the admins help and from members, it has been resolved for now.

Re: My RR resto project

Had to replace a section of the center hump. Before the car came to be in my family, the previous owner had it for only 2 years, from the original owner, until my dad bought it. Anyway, there was some damage to the front of the K, the tranny tunnel, mainly to the underside. The tranny tunnel, for so...

You can try jimsautoparts. They have a wide array of clips and fasteners.
Places like Jim's, R/T and others get fasteners from mainly Auveco. So why not go there first and "'trim the fat" of going through a middle man?

Don't know what it's called , but R/T Specialties should have them.

I've never seen these on R/T's site. Also, try looking in Auveco catalog as well. Sorry, don't know what they're called

Re: My RR resto project

Thanks. The rotisserie was fairly easy to build. I only had to buy the wheels and the hydraulic jacks, and of course some beer. It's been used for 3 cars now. Mine, my friends '69, and his brother-in-law's Challenger

Re: My RR resto project

A few pictures before the car went to the body shop. We made this rotisserie for little to nothing and worked out great. My friends brother-in-law had the steel. So it took time to lay them out, weld them, and bought hydraulic ram from Harbor Freight and viola. Add in some beer too :D

The frame connectors look good as do the torque boxes.
Did you install front torque boxes?

Re: My RR resto project

More pictures of the underside. With the engine I wanted to put in, I put torque boxes on m car. No, it didn't come with them which in a way, was kinda surprising. Yes, the pictures are old but there again, this car has taken a lot of time, $$$, and patience. I didn't want to rush and get it done. I...
