In the process of taking apart my GTX I noticed (see photo) 2 holes in the frame rail (see lower right hand side of photo). These holes are on both sides of the rear quarter frame rail. Can anyone tell me what they are for?
Thanks!

Re: Headlight & Wiper Knob Restoration
Did the original emblem have chrome on it or was it only red with black outline?

Re: Headlight & Wiper Knob Restoration
The dash emblem you are talking about isn't this part of the larger fake wood applique on the dash. If this is correct would their not be 2 styles one with the ac vents and one without the ac vents?. Also what are the belt moldings you are discussing?

Heater box restore
Does any one know of a step by step article on how to restore
the heater box? Doesn"t have to be MOPAR. Just a good article on
whats involved and how to make everything look new. The car I am
restoring is a 71 GTX curious yellow,(my favorite color).
Thanx,
Larry

removal of chrome trim ring
On the drivers side door panel there is a chrome trim ring which thr remote control lever for the mirror runs thru. How do you remove this ring without ruining it in the process. I noticed it is threaded on the inside but could not find any pipe with the same thread.

threaded inserts for inner fender panels
Does anyone know if any of the repo inner fender panels have the threaded inserts on the back of them? Or, do you have to supply them yourself ?
Does any one make these threaded inserts?
