On the heater core, I'd look into getting yours repaired, the new ones (if you can find the application) are pretty bad, usually only lasting a season or 2.

You definitely have an oddball with the 28" radiator. Not sure where you will find a replacement for that. Only 73-up had those, so very few used ones. You might have to fab up some brackets and go to an aftermarket 26" with more rows...

I've replaced the seal 2 ways, 1) dropping the valve body and 2) by just prying out the old seal. Both ways I left the transmission in the vehicle.
