Re: oil pressure gauge
I saw somewhere that it might be the anti drain valve on the oil filter not working properly. I will change the filter and see.

oil pressure gauge
I have noticed on my 71 RR that it takes about 5 or 6 seconds for my factory oil pressure gauge to read. It comes up slow but then seems to be fine. Checked with a mechanical gauge it shows instant pressure upon start up. I then changed the factory sender same results, slow to register when starting...

Leds or incandescent dash bulbs
I have my instrument panel cluster out, Rallye dash. I was wondering if you guys are using LEDs or incandescent. If LEDs what number bulbs? I currently found 1895 bulbs in the dash instead of the proper 57? Anyone have an uncut dash bezel in good shape that they want to sell?

Re: 71 Road Runner amp gauge conversion (rallye Dash)
So I wasn't sure are you referring to the modification outlined by "mad electric". I sent the cluster to red line gauge works for the voltmeter. It seems like they have some good reviews. In the mean time I was going to make the other modifications outlined by Mad electric.

71 Road Runner amp gauge conversion (rallye Dash)
I just pulled my rallye gauge instrument cluster and was going to convert my amp gauge. I was planning on using a sun pro volt gauge as I had done on a 68 barracuda. This swap is not so straight forward though. Does anyone know of a replacement volt gauge. I was going to try red line gauges but I kn...

interior black paint
I am restoring my 71 RR interior. Does anyone know if the steering column and hinge covers on the bucket seats were a semi gloss black. I used landau black on my seat backs and lower door panels. Sem. Vinyl / plastic paint. I don't know if it will work on metal?

steering column power vs non power?
What is the difference in steering columns, power vs non-power? I just bought a column off ebay to use with my floor shift / bucket seat conversion. Didn't realize there was a "power" steering column and a non power column. I do have power steering now on my column shifter and hope the floor shift c...

Re: 71 RoadRunner bucket seats
Can Someone confirm 73 74 frames are different and will not accept 71 covers and foam? Should I just be looking for "Plymouth" b body frames?

71 RoadRunner bucket seats
I am trying to convert over from a bench seat to buckets. I have been getting mixed info on which seat frames will work. I was told that I must find 71 or 72 Plymouth b body frames, 73 and 74 are wider. Also told that 1972 dodge b body frames off of a dodge charger would not work either for some rea...
