Small world

There are two 1972 Roadrunners for sale on Ebay. Amazingly they are consecutive serial numbered but built in two different plants and about 5 months apart. Wonder how that all worked.

Re: Diamond in the rough

there must have been about 60-70 bolts that, for the last 40 years or so. Where very happy not to be disturbed holding on the front fenders. No rust in the fenders but I think this car had a hard life up to this point. Hopefully I can dress her up for the prom again.

Diamond in the rough

My next project for the winter. It's a FE5 with white interior and a white vinyl top Roadrunner. It came with A/C, auto on the column and a A/M radio w/rear speaker. That's about it, nothing extremely rare about it. I was thinking about going V4W instead of the original V1W top but I haven't come ac...

1973 Mist Green (F1) Roadrunner

I was wondering if anyone knows the production number of a 1973 Roadrunner painted F1. I was looking to purchase one with a 400 engine. I'm wondering if I would like it the original color because right now it is about faded down to nothing. The door jams are still some what mist green. I've only see...

2015 Mopars at the strip

Walking around Saturday taking a few pictures. I took a picture of the fender tags too. I'll see what else I can find. Nice weather. Sun shine, no wind and about 85 degrees and a lot of cars. Some good parts for sale at the swap meet.

Stereo system

I'm looking for a stereo system for my 72 Roadrunner. I would like it to fit in the stock location but with a few modern up-grades like a C/D player. originally it came with a AM radio. Sure don't make it for me. I've seen AM/FM replacements on the market but for the money they want for them I can't...

original 1972 battery

1972 Mopar Batteries 001.jpg
I see most restorations done on 1972 Roadrunners have the batteries that have the 6 individual caps. I believe that changed in 1972. I think they came with these batteries. anyone have a original picture from back then that shows one?

Re: Barnyard find

It is in Las Vegas. Found it a few miles from the my house. I see another one as well but can't get to it and no one will answer the door. Surely don't want to be a pest!

Re: 1972 Code question

I read somewhere you had to upgrade the standard 3 speed manual transmission to a 4 speed or a Automatic when ordering A/C. I think I seen it on an option chart. Of course I could of swore I read you had to have a full vinyl top when you ordered a sunroof but i seen one with a canopy type so I'm pro...

Re: 1972 Code question

I realize this is an old thread but had some questions. The E38441 (order number) does starting with "E" mean it was built for Export? The other one was I thought I read to get A/C (H51) you had to up grade the transmission. No?

Cannery is my favorite part. Foghat was the band this year. The cars all lined up like cord wood under the lights is very cool.
