Re: Air canister for AC vents door lock
Yes, the heater is cable controlled. I cannot find the service manual you are referencing. I found body, accessory, wiring manuals and I they do not have the info you talked about on page 24but it does not show the wiring for the AC for under the hood or under the dash. Also, I know I am being greed...

Air canister for AC vents door lock
I am probably not using the right terminology, but I am in the long process of still putting back together my 72 Road Runner with factory air. The question pertains to the vacuum reservoir image provided in the previous thread http://www.roadrunnernest.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=3828&p=23776&hili...

Thanks so much I am now on a hunt to find that wire and the rubber tube you talked about. Do you know what the connection is to the bulk head?

Re: time to check heater core and expansion valve
Would you happen to have a picture of how the wires look when they are attached in their proper locations for the blower motor? I do not have the wire to connect the blower to the bulk head? In your one picture I can barely see the wires coming out of the blower motor. Also, what is what look like a...

Re: time to check heater core and expansion valve
Thanks Soooo Much. I try to act like I know what I am talking about. I fool some people . I see now where to put the hoses and nipples. I also see you have the 134a compressor on your car. Did you piece the system together or did you buy a system and if so from whom and was it kinda of easy to do?

time to check heater core and expansion valve
:D I am getting ready to start checking to see if my heater/A/C under dash plenum and the new expansion valve. I have a few (ok a lot of questions). I have the car for ten years now and I want to make the AC and heating units work. I have never even checked them to see if they work or hold water. I ...

72 Road Runner Expansion Valve
I am searching for a replacement expansion valve for my 72 Road Runner. I have found several parts and I am not sure which one would work. The first part looks like the one on my car right now: I am not promoting any of these sites just trying to buy the right part. Any suggestions would be greatly ...

Thanks very much for the compliments. Scott patience pays off. The car has been at the painter for three years on and off. They have done a wonderful job so far.

It is finally happening
After ten years my 72 Road Runner is getting her original Y8 Gold Leaf Poly back. It is in the early stages of painting, but I could not wait to post a few pictures. I am so excited to be at this point. I will post more pictures once it is finished. http://i1341.photobucket.com/albums/o759/wejewill/...
