i got it now here--just got to get a digital camera----!! i will post some pictures----it is primered and sanded--and in rough condition--but i love it!!! BEEP BEEP!!!

i am happy to say i found out they replaced the motor with a 69 block-----the engine ID by the distributor reads ---E 383 ----which i found out it is a 69 383--i like that !! better engine block than a 71 ---soo-- looking forward to taking it apart and going thru it!!!

sadly to say my 71 RR has another engine in it besides the original one---how do i tell what it is? and where to look----it was suppose to be a 383 car!!! but---i am new at the decodeing--stuff----any help would be appreciated-----

that is discouraging if that is true!! oh well--- i will do some further investigating

i finally got my 1971 roadrunner to my home today!!! i was going over it and found the air cleaner in the truck with this small square little box attached to it----and on it is says --"spark control computer ---solid state" i never have seen one of these---or here anyone talk about it? does that go ...

i saw the high prices they wanted for a am/ cassette player---NOT gonna pay that for something i will never use---i might find a used non working one ---and have in there for the originallity of it----that would be it!

the RR was made on sept. 16 1970 --maybe it was painted that color--i will check on that this week! i hope maybe they painted over the orange----i am getting it delivered this week from the guy i bought it from!---OK if i open the hood and look at the engine----what side do i look under to see the m...

it is not an original A/C car and the paint is more turqoise--not regular blue---does that make a difference?

i recently bought a 71 rr-- it is suppose to be the original drive train in it!!! I noticed the engine itself was painted blue????? thought it was suppose to be orange---? were 383's painted blue and 440's painted orange?? anyone know these little bit of info?? or have an original 71 383 engine bay ...
