Re: Confirmed - Number matching motor
I purchased a stroker kit from 440 Source. All items seemed to be top quality. The motor has not been fired yet as of today. It is assembled and ready I'm just running behind the restoration work on the car. I hope to fire it up within a couple of weeks. All items are now completely restored and rea...

Re: Confirmed - Number matching motor
I like the stroker idea but I do want to keep it driveable. I'm also a big fan of keeping the stock appearance and packing some goodies inside. I want to make sure if some young kid pulls next to me in a rice rocket the old Mopar can still eat some rice for lunch. If anyone can suggest a stroker kit...

Confirmed - Number matching motor
I finally confirmed the 400 for my car is truly number matching. I had been originally looking in the wrong spot and didn't find any stamping, so I thought the motor was maybe a warranty replacement motor. After some further research I discovered the numbers should be near the pan rail. Sure enough,...

Pic request for firewall
I would like to see some photos of the the firewall area and under hood images for 71-72 SSP's or Roadrunners. I'm in the process of restoring my 72 SSP engine bay and I would like to get the paint colors as close as possible. I need to see things like the wiper motor (my is a 3 speed), brake booste...

Re: Introduction of my 72 SSP
I believe that is the remnants of the vinyl top hanging over the windshield trim. The guy I bought the car from shared this photo with me, this is the day he purchased the car from the daughter of the original owner. The car set for 10 years without being driven (so the story goes). I plan to keep a...

Re: Introduction of my 72 SSP
I believe the original owner must have had the white top changed. This is a photo of the day the second owner purchased the car from the original owner. Notice the white top has been changed.

Introduction of my 72 SSP
Hello to the group. I wanted to finally introduce myself and my 72 SSP. I purchased this car 13 months ago. I'm the third owner. I completed the interior restoration late last summer and now I'm working on a complete under hood restoration. The car is going back to original with just a few "upgrades...
