Re: Part compatability for a 71 RR

AMD makes a firewall for 70-74 E body which apparently can be used on a B body also. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1971-1972-Dodge-Charger-Firewall-with-A-C-/281088821065?pt=Vintage_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item4172330749&vxp=mtr I am facing a similar dilemma on a 71 Charger I bought. My solution ...

How rare?

Just wondering how rare a 73 Roadrunner with 400 and 4 speed is?
And...are quarter skins available for them?
thanks!

Re: Mopar heaven this weekend

Sadly, the Mopar show in South Georgia is no longer worth attending, unless you are there to race. Up until this year, I had not gone for about 4 years and was blown away with how pathetic it has become. One "survivor" 73/74 Roadrunner was the sole 71-74 Plymouth B body in the show. And from what I ...

Re: New guy

Since buying this car, I have been busy buying parts and parts cars like a madman. Picked up a 72 Satellite parts car in Kentucky a couple months ago, then picked up a 72 RR in South GA this past week. Not to mention bringing home a truck load of stuff from Carlisle.....and ordering lots more ...

Re: Speaking of Junkyard Roadrunners......

Yep.....Temples is the place. As far as making a road trip to go there.......do that because you want to enjoy a half day walking around the yard admiring all the old dilapidated cars.....not because you expect to bring home a nice haul of good parts at bargain prices. The years have not been kind t...

Re: First Place wing

You can buy the First place Gull wing already painted in Organasol black. It costs about $50 extra.

Re: Repro Interior Parts Supplier Suggestions

The last time I checked, YR1 had switched over to PUI as their supplier of seat covers. That was at least 5 years ago.

Re: Repro Interior Parts Supplier Suggestions

Seat covers.....Legendary without a doubt. Buy PUI and you will regret it. And the prices are basically the same. Stay away from the PG covers. (Made in China) I have yet to hear anything good about them. Spend the extra $100 and get good made in America covers. Bucket seat backs, Metros new repros ...

Speaking of Junkyard Roadrunners......

I happened to stumble across a couple of them today in South Carolina. The most notable being a 1971 RR 383, 4 speed car. Been a long long time since I saw a 4 speed car in a JY. I had my son take some pics of the car, to include the fender tag....(which I did leave) I did purchase the Rallye dash w...

Re: 1972 yellow Road Runner headed for the crusher

I did not ask how much they wanted for the whole car or if they would sell it whole. Most of the U pull its that I have dealt with simply will not sell whole cars. As sad of shape it is in, I was not interested in dragging it back to the Atlanta area, even if it was free. Those few pics make the car...

Re: 1972 yellow Road Runner headed for the crusher

What a small world! I stopped in at Barry's and saw that car about a month ago. It was a sight for sore eyes. The only thing I saw on it that looked decent was the drip rail moldings. Sadly, I do believe that car is ready to be retired for good.
