Engine Stand bolt size

Hi Team! Just got an engine stand to mount my 440 onto so the panelbeater can spray the bay. I assume that the engine just bolts onto the stand via the transmission bellhousing bolt threads? What size are these bolts? I want to go buy some now so its all ready to go when the time comes! Cheers in ad...

For the love of the birds....

I think I need to blurt out my thoughts which have been tightly packed away for a few weeks/months now. Let me start and compliment you guys on the creativity and workmanship you put into your cars. Some of the projects and pictures I have seen on various threads are absolutely jaw dropping! I know ...

Uh oh can I still work with this fuel tank??

Hi guys I accidently bought a reproduction gas tank off ebay with the vents on the front. However my 71 roadrunner has the vents on the side, since it's at the panel shop I thought it would be at the front like my old 72! Do you think there is enough space to get the hoses around from the side and h...

Re: 71 Roadrunner not starting

Cheers Ron

She's gone away to get panel and paint done so I don't have a chance to look at it. However I will point this out to the panelbeater!

Re: 71 Roadrunner not starting

Oh cool, I will try that! The earth cables coming off the negative terminals were on satisfactorily on the frame and engine quite well. The thing is the car was running fine before it got on the ship in LA and when it came here (was on the ship for a good 2 months) it didn't want to start!

71 Roadrunner not starting

Hey guys, I recently imported a 71 roadrunner. We put a brand new battery into it and when we turned the key no dash lights come on and the car won't turn over. When I turn the key the aftermarket tacho flicks up and down slightly and the horn works but the indicators etc don't. The posts are clean ...

Hood Scoop Question?

Hi guys

Wondering if you know the origins of this hood scoop/air intake? I doubt if it was a factory option, but who sells these/where are they made?

Production Figures/Options List

HI does anyone have the options list for the 72 RR? In addition to this, any information regarding the number of 72 RR 400 block 4spds with power steering made? I know there were 902 400 block 4spds made but not the amount that had power steering (if it even was an option).

Cheers
Ash

Re: Newbie :)

Oh and I know they made 906 4spd 400 blocks in 1972. But does anyone have the options list that people could choose back then? I want to find out how many of my configurations were made. Cheers.

Re: Newbie :)

CtownRunner- It is just the epitome of perfection. Absolutely flawless, I met the owner and saw it up close. I was just left speechless. Pulls over 1000HP and is completely road legal (the laws here in NZ with high performance cars are very restrictive). He has clocked up a fair few k's as it is his...

Hi guys Great to see such a forum/community up on the net that is dedicated to our 4th gen RR's! I have a 72 matching numbers RR (400 block) and live way out in New Zealand! Slowly getting all the panels in off ebay to NZ and sending it to the panelbeaters soon. Here is a link of a 72 roadrunner bui...
