Pretty sure it's engine color, was installed and painted with the engine. I think the Hemi is the only one that is different

Look at DB electric for a Dakota mini starter. I have one on my 528 and they are cheap.

I like the idea of the felt for the side glass, have you rolled the glass up and down to see how it compares to original?

Re: Startin to work on the Clone Runner (it's PAINTED!)

What did you do about the fuzzy things in the doors to keep the glass from rattling? Redo them, or find new one?

Re: 72 Roadrunner rear window louvre

There is only one person I know of that makes them now, his goes by Dayclona over on the mopatrs forum, and yes his name is Gene. He and his wife built the 71 Super Bird car the way the factory was gonna do one. They live in upstate NY. They are gonna be be expensive, I think around $1,500 to $2,000...

Just a side note, not all cars got black out. I have a yellow 69 B body that didn't get it.

I painted mine rattle can grey primer, then a little clear on top. That is close to the correct shade.

Do you have a power brake car? If yes, then this is normal and designed into it. It tells about it in the service manual.

Re: Tire and wheel size dilemma

My suggestion would be to buy a wheel/ tire gauge. Don't know the real name. You mount it on hub and it will tell you exactly what size and or combo will fit. Summit may have them.

Re: Pink torsion bar inspection marks found

Where are the marks? Usually the color marks, or strips and in my car, just dabs indicate which bars you have. According to what the car required. Take picture so you can duplicate, if that matters to you.
