Re: 1971 header panel?
I have one listed in the parts for sale section listed under upper valance (momentary brain lapse). It is straight and rust free. 71 and 72 are the same part except for the emblem.

Re: Steering column
I just installed mine yesterday, how can u tell if the nylon pins are broken? how do you replace them or where do you buy them? You can tell if they are broken if the shaft collapses or if you can see the holes where they were. I have repaired and installed a few columns with the pins busted out ov...

The brackets that hold the column to the dash and the firewall are semi gloss black.

Re: Steering column
Mount the column with the coupler installed then pull the lower shaft so it fits to the steering box. There is no need to measure. If it is the original column you should not have a problem. The lower shaft will slide to the correct length. I dont have any columns around to measure. If I correctly r...

Re: Steering column
It doesnt matter if it is collapsed. The nylon pins are broke. You can install it that way. Once it is attached it will not move. Whatever you do dont put anything in the place of the nylon pins that will not shear, if you get in a head on crash you will get impaled by the column.

Re: Keisler 5 speed conversion
To correct the driveline angle on my jeep Cherokee after I lifted it I installed degree shims between the springs and the mounts. I think this might be a very cost effective way to correct the drive line vibes.

Re: Instrument Panel "Fasten Seat Belts" lamp
I think I have an original dash out in the shop with a fasten seat belt bezel that is in about the same area as the reverse light would be with a 4 speed car. If I recall, it even looks like the reverse light, only it says fasten seat belt. The placement is down by the ash tray. I'm not sure if tha...

Re: NOTICE; to all Mopar owners seeking NOS parts
Well, the problem with used electrical parts is that either they are rusty/ corroded on the inside , contact points are burnt..etc. I have also been having problems finding nice good working power window switches and wiring. I have some power window stuff. I'll check out what I have that I will not...

If you have some welding skills or know someone who does you should be able to fab a set. I made a few sets, back in the day when I could afford to drag race.

Sounds like its time for the people to rise up and overthrow the government! .....Or maybe just gather up all car enthusiasts and petition to have that particular law softened a bit. 8) Good luck with your project! Scott. Do I smell a revolution brewing?? Where do I sign up!!

Re: Roadrunner in Dukes of Hazzard movie!
I almost bought one of these cars from the movie. I was in 05. I was for sale on ebay. It was one of 4 or 5 of cars they had built for the movie. The one I was looking at had a quick piant job done and the decals they used were included but not installed. It had the black and orange interior no carp...

Re: charger site
Sweet car! I had a 72 rallye b5/b5 it was a 400, 4 speed. I miss that one. I sold it when everyone wanted a Mopar. Kinda wish I still had it. I'll bet everyone has at least one car they still wish they had. In my case I wish I still had every Mopar I ever owned.
