Re: Another New Member...

Hi Alex! Welcome. Super car... I like the way that the modern radio and gauges are mounted below the dash. It looks really neat and well executed in the photo with the woodgrain. The bonus is that you can easily remove it, if you are after originality. I know that you can't wait for some decent driv...

Re: Hood pin cables

This has been a great discussion about the lanyards. I will need this info when the time comes to put the hood pins on my car. I can't imagine the lanyard between the header panel and hood and if it was factory (which I'm sure has been laid to rest as not factory), I'd just have to be wrong!!!...

Re: New to the board...

Hi Dallas, welcome!! I really enjoy this site and I'm sure that you will also. My dream RR is an orange '72. Black vinyl top with the black/ orange buckets and console. Air. 440. 4 speed. Rallye cluster. Rear wing and boomerangs. Magnums. Window louver. A much better sound system. My car that is in ...

Bummer. But, on the bright side... At least it isn't a new freshly installed heater core that crapped out! :) It's still a nice system you got there friend- Horace

Re: Going today to make an offer on YES another car

Remember it's only a 318 Satellite with a 1972 interior in it out of an SSP. Don't worry about it look for a71  Roadrunner. Since i didn't see a gearshift lever on the column, I feel like it's a bucket seat console car but possibly a buddy seat car. If that's indeed the case with the buckets ...

Re: Brought my new project home! New pictures included.

If the heat that you anticipate for the color gets to be too much, let me know and I'll take it off your hands and absorb your punishment- say the word!!! The stance of that RR is perfect. I was right- the Bee's WAY COOL!!! Shhhhhh!, don't tell my wife but after I finish my RR clone, I am planning o...

Re: Going today to make an offer on YES another car

Wheeeew!!!!!! Look at that pretty car! I don't see a shifter on the column so I'm guessing an auto. Big block or small block?? That white inside is cool. It's hard to beat those Magnum's. Ya know, my first Mopar was a '72 b5 Rallye Challenger w/a 4 speed. I cropped tobacco and bagged groceries and s...

Re: 73-74 rear quarter panels for Roadrunners

I can tell you this out of absolute certainty- If they are anywhere near as good as my full 1/4's on my '72 RR clone, they will be super! Those things fit like a glove. Same for the trunk extensions. I hope to put my outer wheelhouses in and complete body work and paint by the end of month. Time. Ti...

Re: Hood Tach on a Roadrunner hood

Thanks for the input. I had a chance to buy a black '73 Rallye Charger witha 440, console, rallye dash. It had a set of turbine looking wheels with red inserts and a red stripe midway down its side. Power bulge hood and a hood tach. It looked super. The ONLY reason that I didnt jump on it was the ti...

Hood Tach on a Roadrunner hood

Alright now don't cuss at me- just hear me out. I imagine that you can tell by my handle that I like Pontiacs also. I love the GTO's with the hood tachs and you could get them on most all Pontiacs as well as other GM muscle. I've seen them on 4th Gen Chargers but not on a Roadrunner. 2 questions... ...
