Re: 3 speed transmission question

I like three speed cars. 3 speeds were standard, everything else was optional. Seems like it is a car with few options. Fender tag Info? Have you Got any pictures?

Re: bezel paint

Here I go again digging up old threads. Does anyone know what color the brown paint is on the rally bezel? I need something to do this weekend and this would make for a nice project. Thanks in advance!!

Re: Home made 72 Road Runner Grill..comments?

Could some post up the measurements of the hexagon grill mesh. I am looking for the size of the mesh itself not the overall measurements. I am trying to find the correct mesh. Thanks

Re: Home made 72 Road Runner Grill..comments?

I know this thread is a couple of years old but I am hoping to get some information about what you did (GLR) to make this grill. I think I am going to go this route because I can not find a 72 RR grill. I have some ideas about how I want to go about this but would appreciate any input that would be ...

big block valve cover question

I have a couple of sets of 74 big block valve covers. what are the differences between 72 and 74 valve covers. I will be putting a 72 400 in my 72 SSP and would like to have it looking correct. I know there are some extra brackets on the later covers. Would I be able to just remove the unneeded brac...

Strato-vent question

I have some parts for the strato-vent option. I have the controls, cables, upper vent on the dash and the part that goes from the heater box to the upper vent. My question is, Does the strato vent option have it's own heater box or is it a regular non A/C heater box.

Re: air grabber hood question

Thanks Ron! Do you know if the rear brace on the under side gets cut at all? It's been a long time since I had my 71 Runner and my memory fails me, but I vaguely remember seeing that rear brace being notched a little, or does it run even with the opening in the rear? I could be wrong and thinking ab...

air grabber hood question

Been lurking here for awhile, lots of knowledge here. I will be picking up my SSP sometime this spring. A buddy up north found it in a barn he was working on. It's a very solid body with only two dime size rust spots in the lower quarters. It needs some minor body work on the right side but it's not...
