I thought about the same thing a coupla' years ago, It seems that when I tried to install the adapter housing the trunk lid torsion bars interfered. Just what I remember, could be wrong though! Try it and let us know!

Try pulling the rear main seals out and then re-torqueing the mains and see if that makes a difference, if it does then it the seals and not to worry, if it doesn't ... then you've got problems!

I think you have to run a separate tranny cooler with that style of rad. That depends on your set-up and how and where you use your vehicle.
