Re: slant 6 downgrade engine?

Looks like they made a little over 2,000 base Satellite Coupes with the Slant 6 engine in 1972. Only 340 Satellite Sebrings were made with the Slant 6. Just don't see these cars around much as they get parted out immediately.

Re: Daddy's Stinky Car progress page - updated for 2020.

Little by little when I have the time. Prepped the passenger side door jamb and cowl and got an initial layer of paint on it. Will seam seal the cowl area and put a second coat on in the future. Cut the rust out of the lower passenger side windshield area and tack welded in the patch. I will work on...

Re: Startin to work on the Clone Runner (it's PAINTED!)

Holy cow man, I just spent 45 minutes going back through your entire thread on this car. Man you have put some time into this baby. But it just proves that anyone with a little ambition and time can do most of the work on a full blown restoration/resurrection and have a quality product in the end. I...

Re: Another Plymouth B-Body Sunroof car saved...well...maybe...yes!

Crazy coincidence - Doug - the guy that helped me liberate the car from the ravine just happened to run into the original owner of the car! John C. out of Nebraska was visiting with Doug and started talking about a car that he sold to someone locally - and how the guy crashed it not long after he bo...

1972 Plymouth B Body Options Pricing - Need your Help

Hello all! I am working on tracking down factory pricing on options available on our 72 Plymouth B-Bodies. Best place to find original pricing is on original window stickers for our cars. If anyone has a window sticker, please compare your option pricing to the ones on these pages. Thanks!

Emergency brake cable hole center is 3-7/8" up from the floor pan/firewall seam. Center is 2-1/8" from the side cowl. Diameter of the hole is right at one inch. When drilled, the bottom of the hole looks to be about 1/2" from the rectangular indent just below it on the firewall. https://i.imgur.com/...

Re: My 73 RR

EW1 was the same color from 1969 through at least 1980 - It was just given a different name depending on year range and make of vehicle. For Dodge vehicles from 1969-1971 it was called "White". Plymouth 1969-1970 "Alpine White". Chrysler cars 1969-1971 & Plymouth 1971 "Spinnaker White". For Dodge 19...

Re: Daddy's Stinky Car progress page - updated for 2020.

More progress as promised. Worked on some filler to hide the seams, and laid down some primer across the bare metal. Sprayed some rust preventer across most of the little channels and around areas that needed it. Will wait until I do my windshield area before painting the floor pan pretty gold. Next...

The car is looking good so far! Good luck with the resto/refurbish. I hope you have a lot of patience - because it is a long process!

Re: 1971 Plymouth Roadrunner

Not an engine/electronics whiz yet - and these cars can be challenging when it comes to the electronics. Your idea of going to electronic ignition is good but make sure you keep the original distributor with the car in case a future owner wants to put it back original. You should only need the one d...

Re: Daddy's Stinky Car progress page - updated for 2020.

Did a little bit of work last fall, but promised myself that I would do some work each week once summer hit. A little slow getting started, but hopefully I will roll from here. Got my engine up on the stand and my buddy Jeremy will be coming over to just look over the bottom end before we start bolt...

Re: 73 GTX

Looks like a great project. I think they just sandblasted the fender tag and then put it back on the car. I don't see anything with the coding at the moment that looks off. Nice triple black car with the white stripe. Hope someone takes the time to put that one back right.

Re: 1971 Plymouth Roadrunner

Wow, that is a super cool car! V-code, 4-speed, Super Track Pack, Air grabber. Someone ordered that car up with going fast and looking cool in mind. Definitely do your homework and work on putting that one back close to original. Definitely worth the effort! Good luck!

Here is a picture of whats left of the canopy top on my project sunroof Satellite. If you look close, you can see the top goes back to the back top corner of the rear window.

Re: 1971 Plymouth Roadrunner

These cars did have a canopy top option, but it ran a little further back to just above the top back corner of the back window. If the car had a vinyl top, it would be coded as V1_ for a full vinyl top, and V4_ for the canopy top - the blank is for the color of the top - like V1X for black. The cano...
