Re: My 73 RR

I really like the progress - keeper going! I am in the progress of putting together a website for the 1973-4 Ply B Bodies. Check it out sometime:

Re: Another Plymouth B-Body Sunroof car saved...well...maybe...yes!

One of our distant club members just happens to buy/sell/trade Mopars and Mopar parts out of eastern SD, and I had heard from a couple of other members that he had a complete 1972 Satellite on his Mopar Farm. When I took my work training trip to Kansas City last month, I stopped in to check out what...

Re: This is a real 73 Road runner?

RP23G3G is a 1973 Plymouth Satellite Sebring Plus with the 318ci 2bbl engine from the factory. Sebring Pluses are an easy model to clone into a Road Runner because they came with bucket seats and the rallye gauge cluster from the factory.

Re: Another Plymouth B-Body Sunroof car saved...well...maybe

Early last week when the weather was half decent, I went out to the car corral to give the poor beast a little bit of a clean up. I brought the garbage can out and with a broom and dust pan, I cleaned out all the garbage and dirt on the floor pan and trunk area. https://i.imgur.com/WLHBe9n.jpg https...

Re: Starting a 1973-1974 Plymouth B body Registry

Alright - it has begun. I have just set up a Registry website using Google Sites. It can be found here: https://sites.google.com/view/1973-74-plymouth-b-body-regist/home I will start transferring stuff from this page over to the new Website shortly. I would also like to hear from everyone here what ...

Re: Another Plymouth B-Body Sunroof car saved...well...maybe...yes!

A little work left before I can put the car into hibernation. Got the body dolly constructed so that it is easy to move around. https://i.imgur.com/UpM0VL6.jpg https://i.imgur.com/46JU3f2.jpg Wanted to wait until my car corral was done, but I was running out of good weather to move it up to my house...

Re: Interior

If you go to the main page "board index" and scroll down to the "Technical Archive" section and click on the link for "Articles" - there is an article all about the 1971-1974 interchange for interiors.

Re: Interior

A lot of little pieces will be the same or very similar. The seats are very similar, but the vinyl pattern will be different. The main dash frame should also be the same, just different emblems and finishes sometimes. A lot of interior stuff interchanges between 1971-1974 Satellites and Chargers, bu...

Re: Another Plymouth B-Body Sunroof car saved...well...maybe...yes!

So it begins...A few weeks after extraction, Doug hauled it into town and dropped it off at my friend Jeremy's place. I got it up on some blocks and went to work on it. As you can see, the front end was pretty much toast. I got the fenders and valance off. Then went to work on cutting off the driver...

Still some good pieces on that one.
The rear tail panel looks better than mine.
Hows the trunk floor?
Since the car sat upside down for 25+ years, the floor pan and trunk pan are in really good shape.

Re: Trying to find a missing piece

Don't take this down as gospel - but I think the header panel is the same for 1971 and 1972. The only difference is the emblem that goes in the recess of the panel. For 1971, the emblem is the basic Plymouth emblem. For 1972, the emblem is a disc that completely fills the recessed area. Scott.

Another Plymouth B-Body Sunroof car saved...well...maybe...yes!

Yep, you guys are going to think I am nuts with this one. I happened upon another factory sunroof car in my area. This one will be an incredibly challenging project for my retirement years, when my welding and fabbing skills are much better. The story begins around 2015 at a local Mopar car show. On...
