Re: Does this need a Frame Machine
I have been a bodyman/painter for 25 years. You're not going to find a measurement for that piece in a book. Since it lines back up with the original spot welds it will be fine. Just plug weld them up.

Re: 72 Seat Foam
I used PUI seat foam from Hardens, but I think Hardens is no longer in business. It's the brand that most sellers sell on E-bay. I was satisfied with it. It fit good, had the wire molded in it, and was alot better than what I had to work with. The seatcovers I used were Legendary. http://i173.photob...

Re: Show Me White
I say yay. White looks great unless it's a daily driver. Then I might rethink it. Here's some pics of a restore I've been doing for someone with a white interior. http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w43/PLUM1320/Kevins%20Roadrunner/DSC03759.jpg http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w43/PLUM1320/Kevins%2...

Re: Replacement tailamp sockets?
The upper taillight sockets are original. I just cleaned them up in the blast cabinet, put a little epoxy around them to seal them, and painted them black. I used the same 1157 bulbs that came originally. I guess you could use 2057's if you wanted brighter taillights. For the lower back-up light soc...

Re: Replacement tailamp sockets?
Here are some pics of what I did. I epoxied light sockets from a late model car into the housings. I don't remember what car they were from. http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w43/PLUM1320/Kevins%20Roadrunner/DSC03426.jpg http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w43/PLUM1320/Kevins%20Roadrunner/DSC03427.j...

Re: Tach wire
Thanks for the replies. I'm using a reproduction factory tach. I was looking at the '72 Service Manual. It shows a separate harness. I'll keep investigating.

Tach wire
I have a reproduction tach and wiring harnsess that I am installing in a 72 Roadrunner. I cannot find any information on where the harness comes through the firewall. If anyone has a picture of the location, that would be great. Thanks. http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w43/PLUM1320/Kevins%20Roadru...

Re: 1972 grill repairs...HELP...
There should be studs with nuts to hold the front of the grill to the bumper. Alot of times the studs break off. The car I'm working on was missing two and I broke a third taking it apart. But I repaired it with some short #6 screws and epoxy. http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w43/PLUM1320/Kevins%2...
