Re: k changemember
In 1973 the front suspensions changed on all Mopars. So no, it will not work, It would be costly and a waste of time to try.
You can use 71- 72 Charger k-Member.
There are many options you can do. Be patient and research all options for the one that best suits you.

Re: 1972 Satellite, RR, GTX taillight lenses
I bought a set from B/E&A, they are perfect. They are trimmed in black for roadrunner applications, but you can paint them silver for Satellite.Eric wrote:B/E&A reproduces lenses for the 72s. I've seen them in person, and they're amazing.

Re: taillight clean up
There are several problems with 72 tail lights. corrosion in the sockets is the biggest problem. This corrosion exists because of the seal between the lens and the lamp housing. I have found that all the aftermarket gaskets do not fit properly. My trick is to not use a gasket at all. Put vaseline on...

door latch
My drivers side door latch has a borken spring. Is there a repair kit available? Or even new or rebuilt ones. Any advise? I really don't want to go to the junk yard for a latch that might not last long.

Mopar nationals get together
A few years ago I ran into Eric and a few others in Heath. It was really nice to meet some really interesting people that shared the same love of our cars as I did. I hope to go to the Nat's this year, funding is questionable right now. If I do go I will post my cell number here so if anyone wants t...

Re: tti exhaust - I'm so blond (male version of "blonde")
I could never fit under a car with out raising it. Muffler shops raise the cars high in the air to do exhaust work, But when they do they raise the WHOLE car up EVANLY. Try using 4 jack stands set to the same height.

Re: HOW DO YOU ALL FEEL ABOUT "REBODYING A CAR"
A cars vin is like a persons social security number. Is it right to take a dead persons number for your own? or just use some one else's because there's is better. Would you be willing to give your number to someone else because the look better then you. Vin numbers and data plates stay with the ori...

Re: Updated pics of the GTX
I was wondering what happened with your car. I have decided that I will restore my own car. I feel that my car would never be worth the cost of a "professional" restoration. And monery is a really big issue.

Re: Just got a surprise gift
What is cool is that it has the Satellite bezel. I am currently mastering a 72 RR conversion for that kit and the new GTX version.
