Re: Grille blackout treatment
I believe it's just the front of the radiator support and the hood latch and upper valence support that get painted. The headlights have a black plastic surround that screws on . That's how my red Satty was.

Re: Top Speed 71' Roadrunner
And going back to RR vs Charger. I've owned them both and had them and by side. I'm not convinced the charger is that much cleaner however, since it had a bulged hood stock they could lower the body over the engine that extra couple inches...keeping the car that much lower to the ground. I also noti...

Re: Top Speed 71' Roadrunner
Bone stock 71 383 4 speed and 2:76 rear 27 in tires ran 144 mph. It topped out at 5200 rpm. I know it was 144 because my buddies Audi was with me at hitting his speed limiter at the same point.

I would concur, these should interchange with the exception of the quarter window trim / sail panels. 71/2 and 73/4 being the change

Re: Fan Shrouds For All
I think the 22" was he standard for these cars and AC/HD cooling, ect came with the 26" radiators. A small block wouldn't really need the shroud where a 383/ 440-4 would.
and YUP, nothing makes knuckles tingle like getting grazed by a solid drive 4 blade. At least the clutchs give a little bit

Re: Daddy's Stinky Car progress page - updated for 2018.
You should probably direct him here and introduce himself and his issues. That way we can all see whats going on and try to help him out. Odds are its the cable guide shoe worn out and not holding the drive cable snug to the gear. At least the 5-6 I've see having problems is that one item unless the...

Re: Gauge issues
The regulator should be putting out a 5 volt DC pulse. The calibration is just to tune the gauge to the sending unit. This is a supply issue.
