Re: Big block aluminum cylinder heads

If you go 440 Source, please change all the locks and retainers. The supplied parts are pure junk. One lock pulled clear through my #7 intake valve retainer a few weeks ago, causing one hell of a mess. Small hydraulic cam and happened at 6k RPM. Ruined head, ruined my '70 Bee's unstamped block that'...

Re: Ultimate Wiring Picture Guide 71 Plymouth / Dodge Bbody

FYI- I was very unhappy with the M&H harness differences, compared to the original in my GTX. I called their tech line and the fellow instructed me to send both harnesses to them and they will make it the same as mine. The extra wiring is indeed for a '71 Dodge Chager with hideaway headlights. If yo...

The original tach harness is a separate unit from the main dash harness.

Re: Ultimate Wiring Picture Guide 71 Plymouth / Dodge Bbody

On the top pictures of the dash harness, there are some extra wires and a firewall pass through grommet, that are not on my '71 GTX dash harness. My guess is that they are for a '71 Charger, since the harness is made for both cars. I'm going through the same thing with the YO/MH harness.

E-bodies used a one piece rear wiring harness. The only '71 Plymouth with a 2pc rear harness, would be the Satellite line.

1971 header panel?

The header panel on my '71 GTX is basically pooched and will need replacing. Are the '71 and '72 panels identical, or are there little differences (typical with Mopars)?

Thanks!

Re: What's your color?

Mine has a scheduled production date of 9/11/70. It was built and sold new right in Los Angeles, California.

Here is the only white showing at this time :D

Re: Reproduction dashpads

I can't find a website or contact info for Carolina Dash, are they still in business? Also, any idea on how much Just Dashes charges to recover a '71 B-body pad?

Reproduction dashpads

What are the options available now for reproduction dashpads? Are the ones by Ultimate Rides, in El Paso the only game in town?
